Hi Warhammer community! Older player returning to the game, I played back in the day and stopped playing in 2012 I think. I almost cried when I found that this gem of a game is alive today, what a surprise and a heartfelt thanks to the game developer/s for resurrecting this game.
I have some questions regarding this version of the game in 2019. First, is it pretty much how I remembered it being played in 2012? Que up for bracket scenarios (which was my favorite), RvR everywhere with taking over keeps at all hours of the day? Do the classes all support their roles as intended as in there were tanks, dpsers, Rdpsers and healers?
I remember late night one time me and 5 other destro players would take over a keep, get there and come to find out we were attacking the keep defended by a BW and a tank. They rained destruction down on us for hours and it was fun. I want to play a BW this time around and remember that class being supremely OP back then. Can I expect that class to be more or less they same? Are they good at RVR and bring anything to the table to a warband? I never played them before but I did play their counterpart the Sorc so I have a idea how they would play.
Anyways like I said thank you sincerely to the developers for keeping this game alive and I will see you all on Order side!

Re: Older Player Returning!
This is NOT a faithful recreation of Mythic's servers. Some things have been changed because it is the RoR developers vision for the game, some things have been changed because this game has been rebuilt from a from the ground up, rather than having all of its code copy->pasted to new server proxies. Either way there is active new development ongoing with the development of previously existing features.
Classes are fairly well balanced and all of them see representation in RvR. The forums would have you believe othwrwise, but its the nature of MMO players to lose their minds whenever a patch is released. This is as close to Warhammer Online as you're likely to find, and a worthy representation of the game being brought back to life.
