Macro language reference

Is there a place where someone could research macros?

I'd like to create a macro that I could keybind to dynamically use guard and dark protector with a button press.
Something like
/target [x]
/use Guard [And/or Dark Protector]

A number of handy uses come to mind.

Don't see how you could use two abilities at the same time when you have a thing called gcd. You could probably do it with a nerfed-button string. Although I'm not familiar with nerfed buttons so someone else should help you with that.

I actually misspoke, and the macro I'm thinking of would need a name.
It would be a two press on a button macro.
Something like:
/target whatsisname
/assist
But it's simpler just to do
/assist
And just manually target someone, the only way having a name would do any good would be in a premade.
Not really interested in Nerfed Buttons anymore, too much automation is actually restricting.
I was interested in a macro reference so I could play with pet management and a few other things.

EDIT:
The more I look at it, the more I think it would need 2 buttons anyway.
