Order: AOE grinding char advice

Hey, recently downloaded the game. Missed it from the good ol' days. Not sure if I'm blinded by nostalgia or if leveling now is like 10x more difficult/tedious/makes-me-wanna-faceplant-into-a-pointy-object than it was when the game was live. I have a shaman leveled up to just about lvl 19, and it seems that xp gained from quests and whatnot does not scale very well. T1 was amazing, seriously. T2 is just...yeah...you know. I imagine T3 is much of the same as T2. I read that one of the best ways to grind xp at that tier is to just AOE grind through T2/3 since I'll get more xp from that than quests in the long run. Doing that makes me bored/quit playing easily though, since I can only really take down 1 target at a time.

So, I wanna make a new char on order (sick of getting stomped in rvr as destro) and I think I wanna do a tank/dps this time around. The question is, what are the top tanks/dps(melee) when it comes to AOE damage for easier/quicker grinding, just so I can get my first lvl 40 main set up for future alts.

Not asking for a super long 10 page essay, just some quick and easy points on why you think so-and-so has merits in this department.

Just play pvp, if you came here for something else then this is wrong game. If you wana play order now best way to farm exp are scenarios and maybe quests while you wait for scs.

It is actually nostalgia, as quests give more xp here. The difference to live is, that you can't ask a rank 40 to powerlevel you and skip all lower tier content.

see that is the problem... "NOSTALGIA" players coming to this game remember the pvp... they don't want to pve in the lower tiers they wanna level through pvp...

unfortunately outside of t1 THAT doesn't exist.. they wanna hit the scenarios.. they wanna be in the warbands.. no one is gonna PVE JOINING the game.. THEY WANT SCENARIOS PVP XP and renown... THAT IS THE NOSTALGIA that everyone remembers

no one is gonna quest joining this game first out... they have it backwards

People do right this. They even use -xp scroll to rank up slower to pvp with boosted lowlvl chars.
The only time I grind pve is with rank 31 onwards and to get some pve midtier armor sets to give a strong bolster.

pvp just seems like a really slow way to level. idk, after first few SCs i stopped because the return wasn't worth the time besides the RP
