bichka wrote: Sat Dec 01, 2018 7:43 am Well.... ok, also as i remember - on live servers was enough to unlock conq/sent piece to get ward, wearing it is not required.

But in RoR you have to wear PVE gear to make wards work?

Anyway is there way to see if you have any wards atm? like .wards :) ?

I can add .wards command

Ward here basically is just yes no check - if you have ward, you can access dungeon, if not, you can't.

Also, you don't need to wear anything, it is sufficient if you equiped it once to get the ToK unlock 'Completed X Armor Set'.

i might be wrong here:
- but originally anni/ruin was about lesser ward, conq/sent - ward and invader/dark promise is about greater ward.
- wards was about keep/fort lords and city npc also.

but for now it's only for PVE and only one type of wards works/planned?

Compare it to the number of hours it take to get SC weapon or even Ruin set and you got quite reasonable time requirement.

And if you don't want those sets, fine, there are more to come which will be bared behind acquisition of previous ones. But I'd really advice people to run stuff when it's still fresh :).
You're making it sound easier than it actually is. I've been able to run Gunbad maybe 2 or 3 times only, when the dungeon was still "new". I remember spending 45-50min+ each time to find a group. Unless you have a bunch of friends and guildies, finding a group takes longer than clearing the actual dungeon. It's even worse than that in NA times.

Comparing the time requirement of an entire set to the SC weapon should show how, imo, unreasonable the price for that weapon is. Besides that, getting the SC weapon actually takes far longer than farming Ruin, Redeye and Conqueror on multiple characters. Hence why most people don't even bother thinking of buying it and just get Subjugator as replacement.
They done stole my character's names. Can't have **** in RoR.

Replace SC weapon with SC set if you want. It's still times faster.

Also, I can't do anything with you not having friends, guildies or people to play with in game that is supposed to be MMO. Also, can't take into account your organizational issues.

Asking for a currency to simply purchase PvE gear without ever having to do PvE is ridiculous (sorry).

I meant friend and guildies willing to do the dungeon... But i already know the ward requirement from Redeye will stay anyway, so i'll just stop posting.

No, this gear set can only be obtained if you finish the dungeon, it will never be available outside this dungeon.

Also, you will still be able to get this set without any issues, you just need to first finish the Redeye set from Gunbad. After that you will be able to access the City Dungeons with Sentinel set there.

Yes, but...

Asking for a ward system like in WAR is not. Just because the game was shut down that doesn't mean everything we had there was bad. Right now you are literally spending hours/days getting dungeons working for a small minority of people with full Redeye.

The idea of people with full Redeye getting easier dungeon runs (do more damage, take less) whilst those without full set getting the full damage and dealing less is extremely reasonable and this way you are not "closing" the content you have been working on to the majority of the server.

Why don't you ask for acquisition system of PvE stuff same as on live? Drops for people that are not on party, bind on pickup? Or no way to streamline the acquisition like we have here on RoR to just kill boss 3 times and get the piece if you were unlucky on previous runs and didn't drop piece for your career?

It is not closed, you just can't hop in with [current year] BiS gear to the latest available dungeon.
