Fixed it for you and like I said go duel in lakes it is already there.

If there is game support for duels the demand to balance the game for 1v1 will be there as well.
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

A smartarse? Kewl! :3

But since you believe I was wrong to want that, why are you crying for duels now? Hypocritical much?
I don't think you were wrong, I think it's a good idea, but - just like my suggestion - will only come into effect when things get going on the server.

That is true, but at least my idea could be used before T4 is done :)

Dude,no offence, but this argument is sooo stupid...you're saying "we can't have duels, because trolls will troll(EVEN IF most of us understand that 1v1 IS NOT BALANCE)

If others MMOs (where you can duel) can handle people from trolling about balance in duels,i think WAR will be fine

So let me say it again, until you will realise:
1)Duels are not balance-WE **** KNOW IT
2)Some players will troll-WITH OR WITHOUT DUELS
3)we do 1vs1 for fun-AND NO,WE DON'T WANNA PLAY WOW,WE LIKE WAR LORE/CLASSES ETC.

classes are somewhat balanced in other games 2 much of a gap in war.

War is nothing like those other mmos. The balance is to a much larger scale.

The war equivalent to a duel would be cross faction 6v6. Thats something that might work pretty well.

Those saying duels are just for fun or to learn the class. You don't learn to pvp by duelling. Duels dont replicate wars orvr at all. Its a group game you would learn far far more in 6v6. How does a tank learn to tank in a duel or a dps to peel for a healer? It doesnt teach you anything you wouldnt learn far far better in orvr and really makes you worse as dps start to forget about group play which is key not dps rotations.

I don't know you have played WoW ^^ The same classes have been dominating PvP and duels there, for almost 10 years straigth.

War isn't too different from some other PvP mmos.
Neither do you learn to PvP effectively as a Witch Elf, or a Magus, by tagging onto a huge WB.
6v6 is the best way, yes. But dueling is for fun, I reiterate. Crafting doesn't have a huge impact on the orvr, neither would dueling.

Actually dueling teaches you how to tackle certain opponents/classes, which can prove invaluable in scrims/out in the open while roaming.

Dont tag onto a zerg then. Duels teach you very little about tackling other classes in rvr. They won't be in a group, they wont be guarded, they wont be healed. IT won't be anything like tackling them in rvr. Tackling someone in 1v1 is pointless as the majority of matchup are an autowin for one class if the other guy isn't using his forehead to key turn.

The best players played in 6 man pres. They learnt how to play effectively with each other. I can see a reason for having 6v6 vs your own side to train. Duels though are just for epeen and do nothing for improving group play for rvr. You cant learn to rvr by duelling.
