YES CE is garbage. I suppose if you are on a Keep Lord and have a lot of out of party people to hel.. but in general - garbage.

that's the counter for kiting.

you can choose full melee high dps or hybrid melee casting.

i think block chance are less than 20
at max. that's kinda low to proc.
something gives higher block chance would be better.
survivability is most important as melee healer imo.

That's a shame, in Sac spec on live it was quite potent as I recall. It was a bit weaker than your regular spammable melee, but healed well and had a higher AP cost. It was usually ~80% of the damage of your Torture spammable at similar point investments.

The issue is not if I can cast HoTs and full heals when no target available, the issue is try outhealing a BW with less than 400 WP using abilities in a tree you have zero points spent in and no way to regen Soul Essence. Saying a melee healer should be tanky is a given. Saying a melee healer has effective direct heals AND effective melee heals is just wrong.

as melee casting hybrid, i spent half mastery in casting heals. 0 dps tree.
tactics that dmg up/less heal has no use in this build.
HoT up and use gcd for ranged attack to charge mechanic, combine with castings.
it will give chance to get in melee.
once i almost killed SH with ranged only.

it's choice, full melee or hybrid.
kited or mediocre heals.

I don't believe that spec will work very well. Jack of both trades but master of none. IMO you have to go all in as dps for the healing potential or full heals and zero dps. As Mr. Miyagi says.. Walk left side of road, OK. Walk right side of road, OK. walk middle of road, Squish.

It's a little rock paper scissors right now, but it's new. tools will be introduced to close the gaps a little. I've found that my own cleanse, coupled with the Subjugator Cloak cleanse helps a lot. I soloed an RR82 Slayer tonight as well as a few WLs. If I can catch AMs I win... BWs are another story...

cleric have cmbat casting which ignore melee penality to cast heals whiel engaged s n dk /wp


dok/wp get close
-start by use hots as always
-and spam heals as always; need to keep UP with the front line movement (due ranged reductin)
-it so then set up in a nearer positin
-primary spam AND swap group heals / melee group heals as substain
-when a single ppl drpping , keep spam while friendlt target swap
-swap between substain aoe heals and st n friendly dropping player
-if get focussed :

1-g-cleanse
2-st cleanse + healù
3-use melee heals to reposition post every casted heal to keep enemy in front of you
4-in case of CD increase , silence, disarm swap on rotatin apprpriatly and / or pop bubble


-restart all again
(need set back immunity)

Hi all,

I want to take that thread to ask a question about 1h + shield dok after the rework and the update patch from last saturday...

Did anyone of you test again 1h + shield and can tell me, if its "better" now to play and the idea about melee dps/healer will work now? Or does it not work quite well now?
I´ll ask here, because I am interested in play a melee dok, but dont have offensive gear and need some to test it for myself, thats why I´ll ask here for some tips / experience after the last patch.
