Renown Rank Unbalance in SC

If the game had a population of 2k+ then you could afford to filter scenarios more thoroughly so as to make for the 'fairest' experience possible. I do empathise with your concerns but, alas, that is the way the cookie crumbles when we have a very small population.

If pops took even longer to pop then I can say with 100% certainty it would be ggwpbb time for many of my guildies.

yep i can back pp3 up here if i remeber the days where you waited around 4h+ to get an sc pop in t2 or t3 which would more or less be in t4 too if you would put a renown gate for scs, either high rr wont get any pops or low rr wont get a pop, how would that mechanic work if you are like lvl 25 with rr near 40?
there are just not enough players on the server...
go get a mate play tank and dps in duo que get good minmax builds and hope for a decent random healer.

imo its not imbalanced, i would rather play vs the high rr players than not to play at all and sit in a queue for x hours
if you keep getting farmed and it tilts you just log an alt in low tier or do something else meanwhile and log back at a later time of the day
also having a high rr in this game doesnt display any skill level since you do not lose rr so you dont have to win more than you lose to maintain it but merely grind 24/7 which doesnt mean you are a good player

you can perform pretty well even with rr 50-60

i have magus rr48 and i start play him in T4 sc in rr 28 and its no problem

Why not just make scs 16-39 whats 7 lvls gonna change bolster adjustment to balance with anni that way the maxed out rr80 something can farm each other on the daily and lowbies can pug it in peace without waiting for a t2-t3 forever pop ik ik "But the population" way more people would que if the threat of premades disappeared increasing pop times and server happiness

Not at all. 16-39 will cause much more unbalance and gear gaps.
The way 31-40 is ok on all archetypes, when you play properly and spec accordingly.
The question is, how much do you have learned in pvp from lvl 1 till 31. When you still play like a t1 player, then you have a hard time.

Please, stop seeing rr80 everywhere. This is not what happens in most sc. Those rr80 premade's are actually quite rare.
At r31 you level fast to r35 via ruin pq farm or t4 epic quests and then you can use anni/merc set. Next you make BL quests and you are good to go.
