you probably missed the memo, the guy handling balance told the old balance forum mod to "wipe his ass with the proposals" and pretend the subforum served a purpose....
No, I didn't miss it.

Even if the restructuring proves worthless and the balance mods can't impact anything, discussing balance there would still yield something more worthwhile than this poll.

It's impossible to draw any meaningful information from this poll. It is incredibly non specific and offers no insight in to the reasoning people had when casting their votes.

If you want to help with balance, then get involved in the balance discussion forum.
Everyone consider different classes overwhelming at a different scale (0-1) (this is personal opinion factor) ideally we want to have a balanced distribution.

If we find a radical, we know most players(voters) think it's overpowered in many ways above where it should be,

According to the poll results so far we learn that AM is far overpowered compared to Runepriest while both classified as Healers. (Over 50+ people agrees on it atm)

This poll is first to come, it reflects the radical classes that considered overpowered by the vast majority of voters so don't be negative and get your friends to vote.

I'm not disappointed, everything is completely upside-down.

Is the Archmage getting votes because it is overpowered at healing or dps? Because at what scale is a dps Archmage worth a damn? Has to be 1v1 because they are dead weight in scens/orvr.
Brynnoth Goldenbeard (40/80) (IB) -- Rundin Fireheart (40/50) (RP) -- Ungrinn (40/40) (Engi)-- Bramm Bloodaxe (40/83) (Slayer) and a few Empire characters here or there, maybe even an elf.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argumentum_ad_populum - "This fallacy is sometimes committed while trying to convince a person that a widely popular thought is true, based solely on the fact that it is a widely popular thought. In the argumentum ad populum, the population's experience, expertise or authority is not taken into consideration by the author"

Best of luck with your poll.

Personal factor based on what you've experienced, including whichever encounters you shared with a class that you determine meaning it bothers you.

Cheers.

You are attempting to elicit opinions and equate them to solid proof of class x overperforming. Most opinions stemming from sentimental/solo experience, no doubt.

Again - no bearing whatsoever on how balance will be conducted. Find us empirical proof of classes overperforming in group and/or warband environments, and Dan and I are all ears.

ps. empirical proof not being scenario scoreboards with 0 healers on opposing side.
