Yeah first of I hope this is the right sub-forum.
Well it's pretty much what I wrote in the title.
I can't play at the moment because my laptop graphics card gave up on me, it has a 15.6'' screen and playing the game on there was pretty enjoyable.
Now I could get my hands on an old Thinkpad from 2012/13 with 8gb of ram, an SSD and an i5 (or i7, I have to see).
Only thing is its a 14'' screen (so a wee bit smaller than mine right now).
Anyone has experience playing on such screens? How is it? Is it still enjoyable?
Anyone has experience playing this game on a smaller screen?

Does it have a DVI output? I used to play WAR on my TV at uni when I had a laptop.

Yes it has, I even have a 21'' flatscreen here from the times when I had a tower pc.Telen wrote: Fri Aug 03, 2018 10:43 am Does it have a DVI output? I used to play WAR on my TV at uni when I had a laptop.
Do you lose frames if you plug it on a bigger screen? I mean im not sure about the power you need for WAR.
On my laptop right now I could play it on low settings pretty fluently, but I only have an i3 and 4gigs of ram (its one of those shitty asus multimedia notebooks, I bought it second hand in 2011, carried me 7 years now but its slowly comming to an end)
So on that new machine it should probably run on medium or high without any problems right?
Edit: Maybe I should say what I have in mind, I could get a T430S for about 200 bucks, the one I have in mind has 8gb of ram, an i5-3320M 2x2,6GHz and an Intel HD4000 graphics card (it's integrated) plus an SSD. I heard people play skyrim on low/middle on those things, so I figured it should run WAR on middle/high?

Try it. I think my laptop was similar spec. Ran damn hot though.
