Its time to update the Winds Impervious

This set has been our only real source of resists since T3 was implemented years ago. Since then we've seen dps output and crit levels increase through the release of several gear and weapon sets. It only makes sense to bring this set inline with the current damage levels. Its not a bad set as is, but its not as effective as it should be for losing the genesis 5 piece bonuses. It doesn't do its job as intended, not anymore. If it were to get a 30-50% stat boost across the board it would be effective once more.

5pc Genesis isn't the way to go for all classes.

A set that takes a few pve kills shouldnt be on the level of a set that takes weeks or months of pvp. Maybe if it was a new resist set that took the same investment.

again, not my point. The set has to exist in the first place, how we obtain it is secondary.

they already changed the set bonus, to add armor and intiv, back on live i had this on my sorc, and my bw, back then the set bonus was it debuffed your targets resist on hit .

Need more resistances? There are resistance talismans. Damage output has increased then because gear has, which also means your other defenses have increased so you can afford different types of talismans.

Also you are comparing a 3 piece set to 5 piece set but aren't taking into account the set bonuses you can get from those 2 open pieces (beastlord coming to mind immediately)

Well with lvl 40 your resistance debuffs may be a bit higher, but which new sets/abilities increase resistance debuffs even further since the indroduction of t4?

I dont know from where it can came but a new wind impervious or fix current genesis for tanks would be appreciate cuz currently genesis is suicide vs magic caster....it just mirror offensive genesis stats...this never work for tanks....look tovl jew set in live...DD still use it at rr100 while tank have nothing in line as tovl def set was **** at lv 100..

Genesis for tanks is like tovl set, low res and with 1 useless set bonus just in the way.
