Game Client not handshaking

Ok I just downloaded and did a fresh setup of the game and still it did the same thing.

Wire in to your router direct if your running WiFi as you mention on a laptop

Im in the USA on the East Coast and yes I have used wired connection with no difference. The strangest thing is that from the launcher if I enter a wrong password it will show up in red that I entered a wrong username or password so when I do launch the game and I let it go the course until it fails the popup error I get is "Authentication failed - application will now terminate".
