'Good' is a stretch, all things considered ~ unless 'bare minimum of common sense' = 'good', in which case we live in a very sad world.

Abbd.:
Also, would you consider, for example, a kotbs that isn't using guard, auras and yadayada to be an actually 'played kotbs'? I'd say you can't really count a kotbs like that towards the overall population of that class, for all I care you might aswell count a kotbs like that towards the total NPC count.
KOTBS without using Guard is just normal Order tank, so barely out of the norm. But, even if no auras are activated, they can still be quite a tank, spamming 3target AoE snare, interrupts, shatters and doing epic punts with their 2hander.
Obviously not as good as a well played Kotbs with Guard+Auras, but a barely half-assed kotb performance can be quite potent. RF + EC, easily softcapped Str and then pew pew some goblins. You don't need complex stuff like auras and guard to be a okayish knight, Emperor protects even those who don't particularly feel like protecting others. :D

I don't see how a KotBS that doesn't even manage to toggle his fire-and-forget auras could potentially use a snare, interrupts, shatters or any bit of his CC toolkit for that matter in any way, shape or form successfully ~ accidentently, yeah...maybe.
You can mabye use a KotBS like that as a makeshift supply-box-lite and have him (indiscriminately) bodyblock a doorway for a few seconds, but that's about it.

But bleh, enough rambling from me, did my due derailing... off to fight the launcher again.

I'm one that likes to play underrepresented classes and though I've spent a decent amount of time playing Total War Warhammer the last week or so, before that I spent a few days looking at /who to check out class counts. From what I saw the most underrepresented Order classes were Archmage, Bright Wizard (surprisingly), Ironbreaker and Slayer. Witch Hunters were kinda low too.

I didn't pay attention to destro as much as I also like to play the less populated side which often seems like Order but for them I want to say I didn't see many Magus or Zealots. But honestly there were times for both sides where suddenly the numbers seems flipped around and I think that overall class dispersion and side balance seems pretty good for the most part at least during peak hours for this game.

Hrm.

SH seem to have dropped off a bit — certainly less of them.

BG was like Bigfoot at one time but now they are everywhere.

AM that can heal is rare.

I agree with previous posts regarding builds being more rare than classes.
