To be fair, there is some actually valuable feedback here.

1. Tone down the toxicity.
2. Get variety in skill levels, not only facing the same rr70+ premade helps. Peter is offering a solution for this with no takers, so maybe if people start helping him more, like you did, we might see this remedied.
3. Leaderboards. This CAN be community driven, but it takes a lot of effort.
4. A lot of stuff was mentioned for actual game mechanic changes, but that's not gonna happen.
5. Nerf ASW obviously.

On a serious note, sorry I participated in derailing your thread.

Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes.

Im very happy with what you are trying to do. Just remember, there is a lot haters around and they will be around no matter what, some ppl simply love to bitch and whine around not trying to produce anything good on their own or as famous quote goes from The Dark Knight movie: "Some Men Just Want To Watch The World Burn". So just ignore them and go forward. I strongly believe that there is plenty ppl in this community, even in this topic that gives very good suggestions/feedbacks.

In my opinion there is nothing you can do to change people's playstyle.

Some players enjoy playing alone in orvr, even if they die 30 times in a row vs premades, they don't care becouse they are having fun, it's just a (dead)game.

Some players prefer to play in a perfect 6man setup and won't even login without their BiS/RR70+ buddies. They will switch sides to play FoTM, becouse you know, it's about winning and K/D ratio. You will probably watch them running away trought PVE public quests / suiciding against champions/lava whatever.

Other players just play a few hours a week, so when they login they join a wb or queue scs, PLUG&PLAY.

In my case, i'm usually spamming /5 trying to make a pug group (no comms) for orvr or scs. That's what i enjoy the most, putting random players together in a group and checking whats the group capable of. And it's really nice becouse is the best way to test players, how fast they react and their combat awareness. Improvisation is key here. Sometimes the group falls apart, however we are often able to fight and win vs premades.

Player base is very low and this isn't a competitive game. I think there would be more 6v6 if game/classes were perfectly balanced but that's not going to happen and no one wants mirrors in this game.

Alternative appearance items or unique trophies bought with special currency only received from playing in Isha/EC.

Global announcement of a winning guild in scenario? Make them stand out of crowd and be known. People like to brag. Others will be jelous and maybe want to join.

that could be great to see alot of willing ppl to make even random 6man at the fusion event. you dont need to add a great one items, mounts etc. there is needed alot of experience first, but without that, ppl need to feel theyre needed and theyre useful and helpful, they need that feeling they can change something. they need to feel respect around group mates. and there always gonna be fear and they will be scary. but without trying they will sit into their stereotypical visions. the better groups sometimes should give them that feeling by loosing just damn one fight. personally i can play every style im able to anything you want. but yeah as bg the nonmaintank class sometimes i feel im not much usefull in 6man compared to rest tanks. and its always gonna be like we lose all fight against X at the event but then we'll catch them in praag and theyre shocked.
i was thinking about something more but i forgot. tc.
yeah some ppl are just born to win. ;]
its hard to change ppl playstyles, and personally im not going to join any controlled 6v6 anymore. (balance)

JUST GIVE PPL MORE THAN 2 CHANCES, INVITE SOME RANDOMS, LEARN THEM SOMETHING, DONT RAGE AT ALL.

1) Entertain me and/or add value to my experience

I don't get a lot of time to play. I'm not interested in making this my big hobby, so I'm not going to run out and study my class(es) in detail until I achieve the level of play I see you some of you carrying.

That said, friendly mentors (preferably with a sense of humour) teaching me how to play better, or integrate into their style is a win for me. My experiences since Beta have been that this is hard to find. People who can provide this, can gain my attention.

2) Understand my priorities, and allow for them

Sometimes I just wanna mindless RVR. Sometimes I want 2-3 scenarios, and then mindless RVR or get back to my coding projects, etc. Very occasionally I feel the urge to PVE, or explore the zones because I think this game is beautiful.

You don't have to come with me. But knowing my team understands, and won't harangue me for running off, can make quite a difference.

3) Communicate effectively

Scenarios are where I've always experienced the most toxicity. Usually the amazingly unhelpful stuff like, "I can't believe you dumb ****!" or "You idiots are banging on a tank!" (which I agree, is pretty irritating). I'm usually the guy who responds with something like, "Try leading then." Right before I block the jerk.

I make no representations that any of the 6v6 folks are like that. I wouldn't know. If I've had an experience of them, I wasn't aware. I do however hate that ****, and in comms it's even more obnoxious. Knowing a group isn't prone to that sort of treatment of their own goes a long way toward enticing me to come out and play.

I have very little ego. I know I'm a mediocre player at best. Constructive criticism is always welcome, especially when accompanied by advice. But "**** HEAL" or equivalent leaves me cold, and thinking back to the DoK Manifesto.

TL;DR: Lemme know you're interested in me; be fun to hang and fight with; understand this isn't my life; be cool. (Generally I can drag along a Choppa.)

Thanks for the topic, thanks for reading.

Love queueing for 6s, but can't tell you how un-fun it is to face the same rr65+ groups who you will never see until they have their 6 meta classes online.

I think the best incentive would be cosmetic gear/dyes/mounts. Also everyones saying that they dont que because of facing the same 6man over and over.... but if Norkali got what he wanted ( people giving solutions ) more people would Que ! and you would fight different people!!! Crazy how that works.

Not much can be done imo. The population is not enough. You are asking for people in /5 channel to join your group and sometimes it's really hard to fill spots even for just roaming or standard scenarios.
Then most people just want to relax and 6v6 is too stressful and often not much fun to play. So we avoid that.

Giving some goodies/shinies would maybe help and improving balance would help too though.
