Re: How RoR doing?

Well the good thing is you won't be starting over. The community on both sides hate to PVE from what I have encountered. (Its not really a bad grind to 40 when you can play something like Crossout and grind and spend $1100 and still have a grind or Forsaken World, Skyforge, etc) Anyways, SCs and Orvr are hit and miss or at least that's how my luck goes.

Like the above poster mentioned, and I have seen this first hand as well, 2 or 3 guys trashing talking a WB for not healing them or rezing when they're not in the WB (that isn't full) or as a WB leader people "armchair" your decisions but then always want to pass the lead.

A great attempt by the guys on the game to bring it back, you just have to ignore the toxicity you'll be playing with since it is free.

Avoid the word "premade", it seems to scare people away that want to enjoy pvp but don't want to get too serious. Instead if you're truly solo and don't have a guild, you can say something simple like

"M/R DPS Looking for healer for queue+roam"

Congrats, now you're a duo.

"M/R DPS and Heals Looking for tank for queue+roam"

Now you're out of the pug sc! :^)

ROR is still Alpha stage,(Alpha stage could last tell omega).

The population for each zone was becoming to weak from rvr progress changes , so ROR mixed tier zones 2-4 and players level 16 to 40 together.

Pug SC was introduced ,however T4 SC is players level 31-40 in order to push 30's into RVR rather then playing SC's because ROR main focus is RVR.

Renown Rank has been increased past 80 even though renown cap was ensured that it would not extend past 80.

One of my most played characters is a tank, and I can inform you that it is no easier to find groups.

Yea but then that new group is up against a 6-man on comms all rr70+ who have been playing with each other for a while. Yesterday some guy was complaining that he got 6 people together and every sc he entered they got wiped in 2 secs. Everyone told him to not que with a group unless they are rr60+ and have experience as a squad. I don't care either way because i don't mind dying or losing, but I know if i entered a sc with a new group and we were up against a Black Toof 6 man or your 6 man, id be a lot less keen on requeing as a group.
It all sucks but there really is no 'good' solution, just have to suck it up and lose a lot and get better. But sadly a lot of people quit/rage after losing a couple in a row. Yesterday in PUG scs some SW (who Im guessing usually plays EU time) said how terrible NA order is and we should all quit, and then proceeded to call me out because i was lvl 32, saying I was a "NA Redneck Gimp F-----" and I should stop queing. And well he got his wish because I stopped queing.

Gathering a 6 man doesn't automatically make you competitive at all. While the game isn't complicated, you still have to play the right setups in the right specs to succeed. And to be able to improve, the whole party has to be willing to do so, and switch memebers until the party is all on the same page. For example one bad healer in a 6 man can make the whole 6 man think they are garbage, leading to a situation where no improvement is visible as the weak link(s) makes everything suck regardless of what you do.
