'A:\' that would be living on the edge, doubt it would affect war.exe though as its not needed to be on a bootable assignment.
move the war out from under torrent control would be something to look at

Also, try to run the ror launcher and updater with admin rights.

For me I had to go into Windows Defender and allow the launcher.

It shows up as a Threat something about Occamy Virus.
