hahaha,
you are all no veteran players.

THE one and only solo gank/roam class for Tier 3 is AM = Kiting Godmode  8-)

aside from AM/SHAM the second best solo class is either KotBS on order or Mara on destro everyone has made points as to why at this point so i dont feel the need to elaborate. But IMO all classes can be played solo or in group well for the most part. If you know a class well soloing on it shouldnt be difficult. There will always be a counter to your class and some more than others are vulnerable solo (sorc,bw, slayer, choppa) but the rest of the classes can all solo fairly well once higher levels are unlocked.

OK, I'll rephrase it, forget about group utility, protecting other players and so on: who would last longer ON HIS OWN against 1 or more enemies and would therefore stand higher chances of eventually winning the fight or at least not losing? I remember playing a SM in t3 and experiencing some frustrating encounters against kiters who eventually, after a very protracted fight, would end up killing me cos I couldnt close the gap and my absorb bubble and regen tactic wasn't just enough (I had poor gear and low renown, but still....). So basically I'd like to know which tank in your opinion is best at surviving without being reduced to dealing next to zero damage.

Oops sorry some posts appeared while I was still writing my previous one. I meant tanks in this case, I was kinda decided to roll a tank, but your most recent posts are very interesting. SW seems a good choice too. I really would like to know which strong points kotbs has in a SOLO spec. kotbs is really nice and easy to play and its very tempting to make one as my main, but I'd like to hear more about the class. Some ppl have said kotbs but only a few facts have been pointed out so far in support of the knight.

This is easier with the disrupt speed proc tactic IB, BG. KTOBS is the best tank in the game overall so that is a safe pick as well. For solo I'd go IB (M1 snare is another good argument)
