The High King of the dwarves, Snorri Whitebeard, was best friends with Malekith. They fought many battles side-by-side and basically considered each other brothers.

Therefore, it makes no sense that dwarves are in Order. Since the dev team is already changing so much of the game anyway, I propose that in a future patch dwarves are made a Destruction race, helping their Naggarothi allies reclaim their ancestral home of Ulthuan. Or we should have a third faction, with Dark Elves and Dwarves as a seperate faction.

I am currently studying computer systems engineering, so maybe in the future I can help the RoR team code this into reality!

I'd take chaos dwarfs, too. As to seperating midgets from pointy-ears... I am all for it.

Whilst High Elves and Dwarfs are allies in Age of Reckoning, there's still a fair bit of mistrust between the two races, but at least the High Elves won't skin them and wear their hides as a Khaitan.

The Flame of Asuryan was tampered with by the other elves who didn't want Malekith to be Phoenix King. Every other Phoenix King except Malekith (and Aenarion) cheated by having wards being placed on them before going into the Flames of Asuryan. Malekth was burned in the flames just like his father, meaning he passed the test by surviving the excruciating painful ordeal he had to go through after the tampered flame crippled him, and that's proven by the fact that in Age of Sigmar he is now the rightful king of the elves, that's canon.

If Snorri Bronzebeard was still alive at the time that Malekith was crippled by the tampered with flames, it's likely that the dwarves would have gone to war in order to aid their Naggarothi allies. Malekith would have sent a message to Snorri Bronzebeard, telling him what happened, and as they were basically brothers, Snorri could have very possibly mustered the dwarf army to aid his ally.

If the High Elves hadn't usurped Malekith's throne and tampered with the flames of Asuryan, there would have been no civil war in Ulthuan and no dark elves.

I maintain the view that the dwarves have had no stronger friendship than they did with Malekith and the Naggarothi/Dark Elves therefore it makes sense that they are allied with the Dark Elves. It would probably be very hard to code a whole faction change for dwarves, so maybe just make it so that Dwarves and Dark Elves can't attack each other in RvR, and if there's a BO or keep with one dwarf player and one dark elf player both trying to cap it, instead of fighting they can have a drinking contest or something to determine which faction caps it.

If not a permanent thing, then the devs could set this up as an event or something, happening for example once a week/month etc. It's cool little things like this that will make the game more interesting.

It was Snorri Whitebeard. Snorri Bronzebeard would be Muradin from Warcrafts sleepy brother. Also, dwarfs hate the dark elves. Because dwarfs hate all elves. At least high elves might occasionally kill an orc or a skaven by smothering them with their dresses (presumably). Dark Elves, meanwhile, act all buddy buddy with orcs (at least in this game) and no dwarf would ally with anyone that even considers fighting alongside greenskins.
