Getting special bag after hours of contribution

Was in Praag for hours today, guarding BOs constantly, tagged lots of people, was on lord spamming attacks from 80% HP till he died, pretty sure I got about 3 bubbles of renown from kills+BO ticks, yet when the zone flips I get

It says I did modest effort, got 10 medallions in a zone that's not my racial which I believe is max possible, 3k+ renown tick from flipping zones, all things that only happen when you put in some work as far as I know, yet I get stuck with a special bag and no chance at rolling for a real bag or roll bonuses. I would love to understand how my hours of work was deemed unworthy of a chance at a roll that I have gotten on multiple characters just for logging in and killing maybe 3 people in a couple minutes before the zone flips.

I didn't get to roll on normal bags, nor did I get a roll bonus of 1 added to future rolls. My understanding is that this type of roll is separate from a normal bad luck roll of 1, if it was just a normal bad roll of 1 it would still show my roll bonus on all colors of bags and I would have ended up with no bag instead of a bag full of poop. This type of roll is letting me know I did not contribute enough to get a normal bag roll, so the mystery is how did I manage to qualify for 10 medallions, modest effort, and 3k+ tick on zone flip but not contribute enough to roll on a bag.

If you got only 3k for lock you surely didnt do anything in that zone, sorry but it zone which lasts for hours, prime time with many kills around if you got only 3k for winning zone you prob didnt contribute in many kills you just did pve part (killing lord, capture BOs) which is not enough if you dont add some kills.

fyi, BO tick doesn't add to contribution.
capture and defend against enemy does.
1hour of idle used to reset your contribution( with rr reward ). not sure if it still does.

Thx, I'd seen that thread before but thought that it was only for people that got no bag no roll after that being all that was on the first page, I'll throw info there. I'm aware BO ticks don't add to contribution but I am positive I tagged more killed people in that zone than I have at multiple other times when getting bags. The 1 hour of idle thing is the kind of info I'm looking for, I very much get the feeling that something I was doing was somehow lowering my contribution over time or something similar, this is the type of mechanic I'd like some more info on, very unfun thing to run into.

You also got special'd when your contribution is very low in comparison with other players in the zone.

From my pov you tried to game the system instead of following the advice we usually give (play the game and the objectives). All this talk about 'tagging' enemies and stuff... I'd say system worked very well here.

Nothing except switching characters lower your contribution.

contribution reset condition :
1. change toon and join in the same zone.
2. no renown point for 1 hour.
BO tick rp and healing 20rp doesn't count for earning.
after 1 hour of idle expired, you get the rewards for your saved contribution.
whether you're in game or not you get this always. upon login or at the same time of expire.

so it's kinda ok if you left game w/o zone lock.
that's all i know.
