Hello,
After some years I'm going to return and play some PvP, PvE (if exist) again. I would like to know a good DPS class for high end PvE & PvP. A few things before you post:
- I like ranged dps classes but I accept all recomendations.
- I would like to read posts of people that play in high end game seriously (dont take in offense)
- I want a DPS class that top the damage meter but I want to be usefull, I mean, I dont want a class that dot every thing and is top dps but is not doing his job (he dont have a good burst for specific situations that the raid need priority target to die fast)
- The class should have a decent mobility and survivability.

Marauder for destruction and White Lion for order.
Sorcerer and Bright Wizard can work too but they are harder to play because of backslash mechanics.
Witch Hunter and Witch Elf for solo play.

Rune Priest / Zealot are the strongest healers currently imo

No love for SW/SH? SH is easily the most mobile and survivable ranged class. SW you have the capability of delivering high burst but also do decent damage from range. Both are easy damage board leaders in scenarios.
BW more mobile and better at aoe bombing than sorc but sorc single target rotation is a bit better than BW.

Both SH and SW were nerfed out of warband spots with removal of M2 and then removing their ability to cast fast LA/STY. Sure, they are decent for smallscale, but some of the "fixes" make them unwanted for organized largescale RvR. As for BW, it beats Sorc in AoE dmg, ST dmg (Flashfire + BurnThrough) and even with survivability (by having selfcleanse and self Armor buff and not facing WLs lul)
Obviously both classes are clothies and die when facing any proper meleetrain unless properly guarded and healed, but same goes basically any DPS class.
Engi and Magus are less mobile due to having Turret/Demon that cannot move, so somewhat subpar for smallscale, Magus suffers extra from high disrupts whereas Engi is less painful due to lesser Dodge rates. However they work fine in largscale due to bringing utility to warband gameplay with Rift/Magnet and can even do really good ST burst dmg when properly played [this server would be nightmarish hell if more Engis played like Tato]
