New RoR player looking for advice on the game.

Hello, freind got me into the game and i'm currently level 27 and RR 19. I wanted to see if anyone can give me a bunch of pointers on progressing properly into late game PvP.

At the moment i'm going to be doing scenarios so i can get my RR higher than my level, some main questions i have are..

- What armor should I aim to get before I move past the t4 bracket? Will armor from emblems be enough?

-I know i will need to get weapons from the t4 epic quests when i'm able, when would a good moment be to start doing those quest lines? Are there any other requirements to start them except a minimum level? And can you do multiple epic quests?

Other than that any general advice is greatly appreciated!

I'm playing a Marauder, if anyone is able to give me a hand wrapping my head around a good build (i'm speccing for a deadly clutch build at the moment, as i heard good things about it) as well as properly applying renown points for such a build.

Loving the game so far, thank you for any responses.

Do more rvr/sc your rr is too low. As a rule of thumb always keep your rr above your rank.

Aye that's what i'll hopefully be accomplishing next, just want to be prepared for everything after that point.

I am aware that this is meant to be the new player's hub, but as evidenced by all the threads that pop up in the other sections of the forums most players take the title of the section at face value and only introduce themselves.
If you were to skim through the threads you'd see that 9/10 threads do not contain any relevant information about the game; the where-and whatabouts - hence, new players skimming through that very section will be left just as clueless as before.

Leveling a Mara myself, find that throwing everything into monstro and taking the aoe abilities makes leveling a breeze. Easiest class I have ever leveled tbh

I didn't mean to be harsh, it was just a general suggestion for the staff so to speak.

The specific questions are these two?

1.) In terms of access and time spent:
BL (~30min, if all bosses are up and if you find a group, shouldn't be an issue though) > Anni or Merc (depending on whether you play more SCs or RvR, at the very most 1 week of 1hr/day sessions - all things considered you'll/should have enough officers meds/embs for both sets by the time you ding 40/x -, you can buy some pieces [gloves, boots] of the AH or have friends send them) > Ruin (tedious grind), with ToK jewelries to bridge the time until you get hands on genesis/RvR influence/world drops (through AH) and epic quest weapons, gutslime or t1/4 scenario weapons (lv39/39).

2.) I'd suggest you start with epic quests at level 35, they get you 0.5-1 level worth of experience each, so 1.5-3 levels (if xp rewards didn't get changed) and you should - by then, and virtue of being a Mara - be able to solo them. You can do three epic quests, one per race - they aren't repeatable so pick your stuff carefully. I'd suggest you pick the skins you like, rather than the weapons that are an upgrade ~ as frankly, you'll replace them anyway, whereas some skins are unique to epic quests. Fashionhammer is the endgame, fyi.
