Sacrifice DoK is better in every aspect when compared to its WP counter part. What i want out of this is for WP to perform at least AS GOOD as the sacrifice DoK i am not trying to get the WP into an overpowered state by any means... I'm just wanting it to have some viability without having to be rr80, just to compete with a rr45 DoK. If you guys have any thoughts, opinions, or ideas on how we can buff the grace WP up to par without it becoming OP please do share because the spec really does deserve some love.
From the meele heal perspective they do quite good. I have seen several meele wp healers that outperfomed other healers by a lot. As peter said I would asume their capabilitys to actually play as a meele healer are superior to dok.

There are also some good dps wp around and I wouldn't declare their class as bad as some people claim them to be.
Are they doing less sustained dmg then dps doks? Yes fairly sure.
Are they in grp settings quite a notch harder to kill then dps doks? I would say so,
Seems they don't need much; the biggest problem for dps wp and dps dok is still being kited/perma slowed until dead. I would rather say other meele classes are overperforming then that they are underperforming. Basically the same thing but atleast I wouldn't want all classes lifted to the powerlevel certain meta classes currently have.

GOS and ET should change lifetaps into spirit dmg

Btw mwps are in a much better spot then mdoks because of no x2 ini debuffs.
A reasonable RvR system that could make the majority happy http://imgur.com/HL6cgl7

I think making those abilities do spirit damage would actually be a great idea but only if they nerf the healing of them to keep them healing the same, however Melee Dok Would still be stronger in the damage department. Maybe even buffing WP AA damage or a few of the abilities would put them in a better spot. I'm just saying i see Sac/wrath build DoK's topping damage AND healing every day. Let me know when you find a WP that can do that lol. The healing difference between the two isn't actually that great but the damage difference however...

The ini debuff is a separate issue from the inherent shortcomings/advantages of the classes, and on an individual basis the mdok is better.

If anyone would know, it's you brother. I have tried both grace/wrath mix build and sac/torture mix build and the DoK is just so much better! I think they both do well with their off healing but i just don't understand why one has to be SO much better.

I’d leave damage as and test spirit damage on lifetaps. Base avoidance is higher on ror comp to live.

No I dont agree you can rate classes in a vacum. x2 ini is kryptonite for mdoks just like 3xshatter was for heal sham.

Biggest diff imo in favor of melee healing dok after changes is the +20% incoming heal on crit but then again wp has a +20% outgoing for direct heals (non mwps)

(Regarding DPS much of the diff is just fluff AOE numbers)

I'm being told that Sigmar's Shield is broken af and makes healing WP immune to damage, therefore Grace tree is in no need of getting buffed.

Being told anything isn't really evidence. The ability is good but its not broken imo. Its really expensive to use and also very situational.

It was. when RF cost only per second.
now it's per activation. same as original version. pretty hard skill to use w/o burning RF.

Ive been doing some pondering. What about something like making the 50% AA HASTE tactic, in to say 60%. But only for wp as I think it would put DoK over the top. This would help to get the numbers looking the same and take care of the DoK getting 2x as many procs as wp. Let me know what y'all think.
