Get in contact with Matrik, he is the only melee SH i know. He prob has the better insight to how the class preforms in the armor spec. His vid is still on here page 2 in media i want to say. Check it out and see if thats what your looking for, if it is i am sure he wouldnt mind giving you some tips

Heh, you make a good point actualy. Other classes and builds may be better but it's inportant to do the build you like.

Conq/BL gear with resistance resistance jewelry and some armor/ws talis. Subj. weapons for the procs. Dmg is not bad at all very comparable to a slayer. Run away tactic on a meele is great and using the backjump as a gapcloser/aoe slow makes this thing fairly fun to play. If focused or about to face heavy pressure you pop your gas squig and hide it somewhere since that thing will otherwise quickly die.
Together with a off bg (armor debuff) and a choppa or we (burst) it's not the worst setup to play since the conq ini debuff, the slow and the aoe cd increaser are quite valuable to any group.

I would suppose this build was not even bad with the double dmg moral however now lacks any burst whatsoever so the other dps has to bring it. If it would be possible it would probabbly still work with a wl since he can bring armor debuff and burst. I tried it with marauder but you really have a hardtime to get enough pressure on the enemys with that.

It furthermore suffers from the very weak squigpet. If you happen to get focused (a giant meat ball is often focused even though your armor values are extreamly high) and someone on the enemy team is just a tad cleaver or doing aoe your squigpet will die locking you out from your deffense for 30s which mostly results in death. It would be a lot easier if the armor buff was on the actual armor of the squig armor and not the pet which you have to hide.

The upcomming changes will bring a lot of extra skills to the meele squig however most of the problems seem to not be solved with that. Such as dmg or the heavy AP problems seem to not be looked at. However they look very fun and I think playing a meele squig is mostly about shits and giggles anyway.

Make a SUPER-D build if solo roaming or PuG SC'ing. I prefer more of a primary kite build with secondary melee when you just can't get away...but to each their own.

If you want to go hardcore melee, get a group (including a guard) and mix in good offense.

Maybe something like:
ABM, SneakyStabbin, PoYoS, RunAway / iGotLots / WazzatBehindYa

Explode gassy when you're not focused. Combine some BadGas, BigBouncin, Indigestions, BigClaw, and the KD all at +40% damage. ...with good STR, WS, and MeleeCrit you may have fun. You'll need good group support though. Just make sure to get Gassy out when you get pressured.

If this is a solo build, I wouldn't run hes a big un or strength in numbers, in general I wouldn't use hes a big un, I tested it with all pets and it just is completely underwhelming. Plus the strength only benefits melee pets and it's still weak.

If it's a group build, I wouldn't run da smell don't bother me, the heal is completely lack luster even when facing single opponents, I'm still debating if it's even worth it in solo builds. Also with group, I wouldn't use the regen rings typically.

Basically you can get what you want out of this build by simply slotting morale pump and the morale 3 and building any which way, I wouldn't recommend it for solo because you won't typically live that long for a m3.

Also the way git em works on this server, even with squig beast up, the 50 percent increased damage on your pets attack is going to wind up to around 300-600 damage maybe.
