Hi
As might be obvious from the title I was wondering if there are plans to standardize his buffs stack, as just now there is a sort of rule of thumb but it is not standard.
In my opinion it just makes the understanding of what is possible and what is a big very unclear when things don’t follow a pattern.
I have seen some threads about this where it was strongly indicated that stacking was outlines ability, pot .. but in another thread about debuff this was kind of ignored and said was working as intended .
Confused how to know the diff between intended and bug
Any plans to standardize stacking of buff/ debuff ?

There are quite a few unique abilities/tactics that don’t follow the regular stacking rules. It just comes with experience, testing and knowing which ones stack and knowing what to avoid or what to include to optimize your group.
Was there a particular class you were looking at in regards to what stacks and what doesn’t?

Ok no was the sad answer.
Understand that it’s a lot client side but was whishing to hear yes but the client is messy so it’s hard
Thanks for the reply anyway

Re: Any plans to standardize stacking of buff/ debuff ?
Standardizing stacking is imo a bad idea as it closes some options to buff classses that otherwise doesn't see much group priority.
There are just so many overlapping effects which otherwise require class nerfing (=pissing players off) to open spots.
By allowing single specific spells and effects to stack with others you can fix these overlapping non stacking issues. Thats what Mythic did with Heavens's Blade post 1.4 and that opened up SM to warbands. Why its removed here as of late is beyond me tbh. Would be better if it's stacking still aplied and Spirit resistance debuff was lowered to 0.

Disagree with your thoughts totally but is not much point going deeply into it as Torq said there was no plans (at least for now)roadkillrobin wrote:Standardizing stacking is imo a bad idea as it closes some options to buff classses that otherwise doesn't see much group priority.

Buffing /nerfing should not be on mechanics . Mechanics meddling leads to the unexpected and unintended results that causes devs to wheild the nerf hammer

Ofc another option woulld be to exchange some of the stat buffs to Melee Power instead of STR for example. Forgot about those stats. I think for example BG/IB getting Fortitude instead of Toughness buff ability would be a great idea.Acidic wrote:Disagree with your thoughts totally but is not much point going deeply into it as Torq said there was no plans (at least for now)roadkillrobin wrote:Standardizing stacking is imo a bad idea as it closes some options to buff classses that otherwise doesn't see much group priority.
