We do keep sieges rather often, they are just rarely successful. Typical zone in NA time goes like this:

1: Guild warband (Train Wreck/friends and/or Warhawk's mob for Order, rocks and Drow for destro) enter zone and start capping BOs.

2: Pugs wander in and bumble about, typically chased from BO to BO by roaming grps (or just Volgo and Fisk) or the above guilds.

3: one side gets their keep to 3 stars, begins siege.

4: once inners are down, defenders log on in force and after some idiot healer resets the lord 5 times in a row, defenders wipe the attackers.

5: Attackers cannot break through funnel to get back in keep. They retreat to their own keep for inevitable counter attack.

6: Defenders and attackers switch positions. Repeat steps 3-5 until 4 hours pass and zone draws.

7: "orvr sucks, lets do scs." Your premade then proceeds to get dodged by other guild premades after one victory, at which point its midnight and everyone goes to sleep as the russians log back in and start the cycle anew.

There is no equivalent of CNTK or TUP/Phalanx on destro or order. Train Wreck, Drow, and rocks are the most organized guilds but even they have a hard time filling a full warband with 40s in good gear.

It really is a different, much smaller scale game in NA time.
This precisely. Normally a Train Wreck warband is like 12 people, with maybe 1/3 of them on mains, with added SoD members and such :D
Pretty much exactly what I'm trying to get at. When the organized people of the server that run larger groups, especially order side and during NA hours can't keep up in gear/RR, and can't get anything decent going, how do you see anyone pulling off something functional with pugs?

As frustrating as that all sounds, this is still my favorite game, even knowing how frustrating some nights can be.

Agreed. No other game plays quite like this, and even with the lowish pop NA time, its more fun than any other MMO out there.

lmfao this is so on point it's hilarious until it's sad.

Oh I wasn't really arguing against any point you were making, just agreeing that NA is a relatively different game.
