Should just have Fusion fight FusionII ad infinitum. Maybe have LoB and Twelve Centimeters Unbuffed fight each other. Ultimate six man scene :p
Warbands actually mattered more when you needed to push to enemy city, and when both sides had many of them, you had incentives to be part of an organized force that was able to compete with enemy organized groups in large scale RvR.

Here we don't have cities yet, so warbands are mostly just for efficient RvR playing.
Maybe when we get cities, we get some kind of WB-play renaissance?

Until that, we are stuck to 6mans fighting other 6mans and then occasionally talking mean things to each other :P

Not sure about a competitive scene, but if there isn't there are plenty of people (especially here on forums) who would love one. Anyone can start the movement to get it going. Someone (or a group of people) has to take the initiative to make these things happen.

I believe the Dwarf Guild does premade RvRs on Wednesdays (tonight), so that would be a good time for a competitive Destro guild to take the field.
Tried, people AREN'T interested

Also, no offense to BT, but they'd get stomped by any kind of organized WB like TUP or phalanx.

Hmm. I think people are interested, but getting 24 people who have the same play time availability will be the difficult part. 6 people is one thing, 24 is a whole other beast.

LoB = 12 IU
Fusion doesnt have as many active players as a couple of months ago. Plus we play destro now, scen pops arent a problem anymore. Main issue is that there are barely any destro premades.

ragafury wrote:RvR got a rework recently. T2-T4 are now merged. so you actually can now play more and different maps. Besides that, there are also new mechanics.

if you haven't played for all of 2017, there are lairbosses called Beastlords. They grant a new Itemset, including a pocketitem, it's a 6 pieces set.

If you have played 2016, there is a higher rated set in both SC's and RvR. Dominator and Conquerer replacing anihilator and mercenary as highest tier sets. There is also another two set which can be purchased by a side currency set. consisting of 2 pieces.

Gunbad was already opened and functioning for a few days including an opening event.
the full release is spring. it's getting a few tweaks here and there. including ofc an itemset: Redeye.

There is an upcoming new PQ set for the PQ chapters 22.
The PQs there are getting a rework. It shouldn't take too long until they hit the server. there is no ETA by the team, but they are now in the making for a while. Perhabs after they finished gunbad? as mentioned no ETA.

I think all PQs are now functioning for both sides, order and destro, they drop loot, they work.

every holiday had an live event with collectibles and quests n stuff.

there were a lot of class and balance changes and the server is consitently improving, with sometimes some buggy code getting pushed. usually there is a hotfix in a few hours. so the devs care.

atm there is double XP / RR / Influence.

I'm playing for 10 months now.
Project is on a steady way and making progress. can't complain too much, even though I don't agree with some changes. but it's there project.

about population since you especially asked for that:
RvR is usually somewhat between 150 v 150 and upwards.
perhabs a month ago or something the server had over 1000 players and counting.
400 v 400 is a real mess and results in a diashow.
the population is at a sweetspot, speaking for EU in general and EU prime.
this week somehow indeed. SC pops are rare. but I think it's because the pug sc is meh.
You said it all. Gunbad will be opened so you can start trying to get Redeye set. I am currently working on Chap 22 PQ , No ETA . I do my best to make it challenging and fun.

Exactly, when there is any form of campaign;
- currency rewarded for pairing locks to purchase next tier gear, invader or aesthetic items (tyrant/doomflayer/warpforge/lotd weapon skins) the you would see a rise in warband play and a reason outside effective RvR.

The only thing that now is challenging is getting SC to pop ... I mainly play NA but usually 1 day of the week i also play EU and solo que for sce, after 4-5 hours I'll be lucky if I can get into 2 scenarios , so I don't know earlier this year no problem you felt SC would pop consistently now over the last 2 months hardly .

Overall true, but we are improving. Pretty much any number of destros below TUP or Phalanx is destroyed by us. But it is hard to fight the 100ft AoE m4 killer SH that kill a warband if ye have five of them.

But as I said; group setup is improving, dwarfs fight on their Alts to have a better group synergy.
