state of server/project?
I have been away from this server for a good part of 2017 haven't been keeping my eye on it too much wondering how the server is currently I see that during peak times it only is reaching 700 players now instead of the 1400 + queue it used to have a few months back. Why is that? I am guessing content lacking or issues with in the server? Also wondering if the dev's are working on anything new to the game once the base game's content is over. Also wondering about variety of players is there still just a ton of t1 players and hardly any t4 or? Any feedback would be nice thanks in advance.

Nah, content really isn't lacking. I saw 800+ on EU primetime on Christmas day. Both T1 and T4 have plenty of action (T1 less so during NA); mid tier is the only tier that you really feel the lack of players during NA. But, it's the holidays.. people are on vacation.. the game is in a good place.

Pennsylvania.
Serious Answer: I just started about a month ago, and things seem to be good. I didn't experience any of the previous issues, so I don't know how much it has improved (or regressed), but I think everything is fine.
There are of course a few bugs here and there, and the server goes down for a few minutes every few days. But the team is really hands-on and does a great job of getting things back up. Christmas "morning" (for United States) the server went down and the team had it back up and running (remotely, I would add), to give us the game we love. That's project commitment. That deserves the patience that may be required once in a while when bugs or drop-offs occur.
I can't speak for the player-base, but I would say that during peak hours you never have an issue finding a Warband and SCs pop often enough.
For the game's "base" content, if you mean catching up RoR to contain all of Live's content, I think that's years off. They're making progress, and that's what matters. Changes occur every month, whether they are new features or balance tweaks.
Players: T1 usually has about 10-50 players (in RvR) at any given time. T4 has probably 24-120 at a time. (This is per faction, so double the numbers for total population)
Overall, I think you'll be pleased with the current state of things.

Trying to get a group sc pop here on order is next to impossible

Really? I don't think I've experienced that. It may be slow late NA, but most of the time it's pretty good.xtc1999 wrote:Trying to get a group sc pop here on order is next to impossible

Re: state of server/project?
Okay so the server is still a ways off of what live had before it shutdown? If so that's promising if they can bring all that content eventually to RoR. Good to hear about population too as a US player I'd like to see people in the beginning and end I am well away that the mid tier previous t2/t3 was pretty empty most got plevled or quit. Thanks.Axerker wrote:snip

EU time it's horrible, either me and my boys are very unlucky or it's a zergfest that kills it.dansari wrote:Really? I don't think I've experienced that. It may be slow late NA, but most of the time it's pretty good.xtc1999 wrote:Trying to get a group sc pop here on order is next to impossible

Fair point... I'd imagine during EU it would be better, but I'm not able to play EU prime so I dunno.xtc1999 wrote:EU time it's horrible, either me and my boys are very unlucky or it's a zergfest that kills it.
Still a ways off, but not in a bad place. RVR is very fun (besides trying to take a keep during NA but I will leave that argument out), and the game feels pretty rewarding, at least from my perspective.cryao wrote:Okay so the server is still a ways off of what live had before it shutdown?
