Don't think that's possible due to the fact that each class weighs stats for a different amount. So you'd need 24 different base calculations.dansari wrote:Interested to see what you come up with, especially if you determine a base calculation that can be mapped across armor, bonuses, and stats.Raefar wrote:I'm a financial/data analyst, numbers is what I do.dansari wrote:Fair enough. Defensive stats such as toughness, resist, reduced armor pen and such are not different per class. Additionally, armor max mitigation is affected by what tier it is such as light, medium or heavy not by class.Manatikik wrote:Don't think that's possible due to the fact that each class weighs stats for a different amount. I might as well set some goals:
Str VS WS tipping point
Parry Vs WS tipping point
Toughness Vs Armor/Resist tipping point:
And other math I should go ahead and start looking into?

Re: What Tier is RedEye?
Redeye should be comparable to Conq/Dom/Onslaught.
There are calculations that should be used for assigning stats/armor/resists, but honestly we don't have them all figured out, so stuff gets to be "close enough".
Another odd thing to keep in mind, Mythic had several break points across item levels where the scaling for ecah thing changes, generally around each tier shift. This is one of the escalating power curves that will be flattened on RoR.

Re: What Tier is RedEye?
I didn't mean the values. I meant how important each one is to each class. For instance SW and Engi are both PRDPS but SW values BS more because they have easier access to WS and an armor debuff. So how much is acceptable between the classes is different. There's no way to accurately have a value that meets every classes weighted values.Raefar wrote:Defensive stats such as toughness, resist, reduced armor pen and such are not different per class. You are thinking to precise, I will simply be providing the math behind how each a stat works and its affect on each ability. It will be up to the player to figure out how they want to build their character.Manatikik wrote:

On another note, it actually wouldn't be to hard to figure out the value of every stat for every class. You would simply need to looking at all the abilities/tactics and gear for each class, figuring out the stat multiplies are for each ability and apply a weight to each stat. Yes it would take a lot of testing and a lot time but nothing to hard.

It's definitely a tier below those sets for healers, having int on it on clothie variants.wargrimnir wrote:Redeye should be comparable to Conq/Dom/Onslaught.
