Game wont start

So i have a new computer, and i decided to install ROR. i was pretty sure i did the steps right but then i got this error: Error starting: System.UnauthorizedAccessException: Access to the path 'C:\Users\t\Downloads\Warhammer Online - Age of Reckoning\WAR.exe' is denied.

Is there any way to fix this?
Note: i installed direct x and i used utorrent for the ror torrent and i have the stuff in the correct folder

A few things you could check,

- Uncheck the "read only" only flag from your Warhammer Online folder
- Running war.exe in Administrator mode
- Running war.exe in Windows XP SP3 compatibility mode

I would move the Warhammer folder out of the user profile for testing. For example to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\

Ok i fixed it partially, I booted up the game and it is saying "dx3dx9.dll" was not found

Your original error meant that read only was enabled on key files in the game folder. Assuming you've fixed that,
the new error you're getting is DirectX related. Either install latest DirectX package or you can force it by manually adding the missing .dll file into the game folder.
