Blackscreen when launching game, UI still visible

Hey guys.
After a recent reddit post I decided to jump back into warhammer online, however I run into an issue.
Whenever I start the launcher (all fine) and get into the game, I only see the UI buttons with a blackscreen in the background.
Now I think I've read every single thread on this issue in the last hour on this website and nobody has a solution for it, other than a guy running the game through a virtualmachine, no thank you.

My graphics card is a gtx 1070, running the latest driver.
I downloaded the torrent version and the normal .rar version, same problem persists.
Tried Windowed mode and fullscreen, nothing.
Looked into the debug log and it says:

Can somebody help me out here?
I really want to play it but I can't be arsed to launch it through a VM, there must be a solution.

I think you better off with upgrading to Windows 10.

I had the same issue on both on my computer and laptop and the solution that worked for me was I had to paste the 32bit version of the necessary directx file, even though my operating system is 64bit. Once I inserted the 32bit versions game ran without problem.

This was also the case on my Macbook, with bootcamp/windows 10.

Can you explain to me which directx file? Just download the x9 in 32bit and where to paste it or which file are you referring to?

Thanks for the link but I goes to an error site.
I downloaded Direct x9 yesterday and installed it again, even though I already had it on the pc just to make sure.
I also just downloaded the d3dx9_43.dll in 32 bit and copy pasted it in my warhammer online folder, deleted the old file.
The problem still persists.

Currently updating from windows 7 to windows 10, maybe thats the solution.

Alright, I'm on windows 10 now, the problem is still here.. Losing my mind

I DID IT. Well, atleast I found a workaround for everyone with the same problem, who gets a blackscreen and then the program stops working.
I quote another user here in the forum
"I have, however, found a workaround. I've created a new user on my system and this user runs WAR fine. So I'm now just running the executable as that user (not logged in, but shift & right-click, run as different user).
Not the ideal solution, but at least I can finally play!"
