Do my Gold Bag Bonus Rolls go to 0 if i get a purple/blue/green bag?

no, each color has a separate bonus, as does each tier.

But it resets upon logout if im not mistaken?

Afaik you only get the bonus roll for the tier based on your rank. E.g. a r18 character would only get a bonus roll for t2 zones. In other zones you only get normal contribution.
All bags roll individually for each tier. You can't use t3 bonus for t4 bags.
Whenever you fail to roll gold the bonus rises and it only gets resets, when you win gold.
You lose nothing while logged out.

Dev Diary November 2017:

After those calculations, every player rolls a dice (1 to 100) on his own chances (rule of 3 + a small penalty if on the losing faction + an AAO base modifier) for a gold bag. If won, then the roll stops there. If not, we add a small bonus on gold bag's next roll and we move on to a roll for a purple bag, and so on. Please note, that this little bonus is specific to each type of bag and is never lost until that type of bag is won. Hence, this bonus is always going up till you win. Once you do, the bonus start back at 0.

And Sulorie got ir right too...logging out doesnt reset your bonus for the next roll in another zone...

When you are in T4 (rank 31-40) you also won't use your bonus when fighting in T2 or T3 zone.

Logging out with a lot of kills in a zone with aao seems to bug out the contribution roll somehow, got 3 gold bags in a row from aao zones I left way before locks.
