How we can test and said system is working properly when we dont know logic behind it?

From my experience, I got better bags (" colored") when I actually do nothing, I just came in zone 10 mins before lock get some kills for roll. And when I am playing warbands/6man with many kills/sieging I just get white for 2-4 hrs. This can be unluck few times but not always.

I like luck part but I think player contribution for zone lock/deff should be more rewarded, also some guys noticed deffenders with AAO getting better bags and I think I read realm who locked zone will have bonus on roll and those who lost zone penalties on their roll for the bag.

We could better test it if you can give us basic explanation of how it work bcs I cant understand logic behind this now.

you test it by generating events (here it means to partake in zone lock and generate bag rolls)... the STAFF than take a look ath the results and the generated statistics and see if those LARGE NUMBERS actualy lead to the result they espected or diverge from them ^^ since a single player is not a sufficinet source due to the randomness of the roll system... only values that goes behind 100 are actualy worth taking into consideration to see if the system is working or not (actualy with how high the RNG value is I would say that value should be in the 1000 or 10000 before becoming meaningfull ^^')

testing does not always require knowledge of inner mechanics... actualy there are plenty of situation where an "ingorant tester" can lead to find something that none who KNEW how the system was meant to work had tought to test ^^

under the old system i would get coloured bags most the time (fairly often)

under this system I mostly get white bags for my "contribution"

I think I got a blue once and a green once... and maybe 7 or 10 white bags (I've lost count because i know to expect white everytime)

The ironic thing is the zone i contribute least in i get most "reward"

All rewards are dupes anyways atm so don't mind me... not sure if master looter will ever be a thing again? I've been passing my rewards for months, i would of passed bags to guildies too.

I don't know what more I can do to improve my personal contribution :) and some zones that was from start to finish fyi.

Me and 4 others spend 4-5 hours in CW now, literally from the start.
A random dok joined 10mins.
Order locks zone and we all got white exluding the dok who got gold from 10mins in zone...

One of my theories is that contribution over time has a factor in it. So if you join late and do stuff it's worth more because of contribution/time is important to the roll.

Regardless I think it's a great new system and the main people complaining weren't getting gold with the old system but thought they'd start getting gold all the time now for some reason and are now salty.

I just had a brilliant idea!

1)Stand inside the WC of the active zone without ever stepping into the lake.
2)Do scenarios while bidding your time.
3)The moment the zone is about to lock, step into it.
4)???
5)Buy an umbrella to cover yourself from the rain of golden and purple bags.

I've had 2 gold under new system, a few green and rest white.

Though it's strange as i've only had gold from lost zones that i pugged in and never had better than white on guild warband night when we've put a lot of effort into winnimg a zone.

Currently feels like better rewards for losing zones and minor contribution as long as you have aao.

Today Ill try joining zones at the end few times with lower lvl char and 40 lvl and let you know guys

If you contribute at the last minute, you might not always get a bag. The higher that everyone in the zone gets, the more hard it might be to contribute.

It's a very small percent of every contributor's contribution that you need to reach, and that's for the lifetime of the zone. So more often than not, with 30min-1h30min flips you'll be guaranteed a bag with low contribution (meaning 1 kill, most of the time)

AAO also affects rolls at the end of a zone flip. I've seen times in the logs where destro gets mostly white bags and other times when order gets mostly white bags (with those who have blue/green rolls saved up occasionally getting them) while other zones are open.

It's crazy that some complaints are in about getting a bag at all - prior to this, there weren't bags at all for some players. If anything, more than the upper echelon of contributors will get a chance at bags now where as before, they had no chance unless they metagamed contribution.

I think that the system is fine how it is. It's currently raining bags compared to before where only the 'elite few' got bags.

Its nice to get bags.. But after few white bags u realize its worth 1 conq medalion which is not much motivating and rewarding
