Regardless of which came first, only one group of people have the ability to do anything about either and getting into a trolling contest on the forum only serves to harm the game/servers reputation. We all want new people to discover the game and play with/against.

Back on topic, changing the boss' attack to put a debuff on 1 or 2 random party members would have the same effect - healers have to pay attention, identify who's affected and cleanse the debuff or you're back to square one, but would remove the mandatory need for a WP.

Either that or change the cleanse tactic for AM/Sh and Zl/RP from no CD to a group cleanse with increased AP cost and a CD.

Do we know the range of the debuff? A RP with cleanse tactic + heal added to it could keep group Mdps/tank chars cleansed if the rdps and healers stay out of range? Obviously not as optimally as WP, but, optimal groups cannot always be formed.

The hot on cleanse tactic of RP is not as potent as the sham/am one and it does not stack either opposed to both other healers.

Last time I saw a kill of the bear - it died to about 2-3 perma Gort Sez Stop at max range with only one tank on the boss and everyone as far as possible.

And how can you out AP him. I thought if he gets more AP he heals more?

Can't get past his stupid healing

The fact tha you need to exploit a specific strat and that you need to run DoK/wp or else for this boss is really annoying for how sketchy bl comp set ups are

People have almost certainly already tried all of these but its worth a shot (i havent done ursa yet):

1: is he doing an attack that causes the healing to occur, ala Ghalnaros' cleave stomp that heals him? If so, can it be interrupted?

2: is his heal a circular aoe or a radial cleave? I.e. does positioning matter? If he cleaves in front of him to heal, then it may require melee dps in back or more ranged dps. I remember wiping on Gholnaros a few times until I convinced the group leader that everyone should be behind him except me as the main tank. After that he died easy.
