Ok so based on how it reads the m4 is very vague. I know the damage portion of the morale works but I am unsure that the morale drain works. I have not tested it. Has anyone tested it?

Affected targets lose 30 sec's of morale over 12 sec's is super vague.
If this is by RoR standards and morale gain rate is 10 per sec then that is only 300 morale and it is garbage.
But if this is by AoR standards of 60 more per sec then that is 1800 morale which is very good.

Or does the morale take in the morale per sec of the user and uses it against them?
Does anyone know?

Also does anyone know if Lookin" for opportunity works? the morale drain on clobber tactic.

I agree the text is quite vague. Perhaps it's not working exactly because of the morale rate. And even if it worked, I don't think I would ever use it tbh. Morale drain over 12 seconds seems pretty meh. I may be mistaken, but I think it's the only m4 morale drain on destro (or one of few), and when you compare it to solar flare, it seems worthless. Also what my problem with it is, is that maras don't even need morales to drain morale. So there is absolutely no point in specing this morale in the first place. If you are facing a funnel without mara morale drain, and if order is using solar flare, you will never be able to use morales effectively either. Not to even mention how insanely fast kotbs can reach m4 in the right circumstance (around 12 seconds).

I'm that asshat that thinks the original game is based on racial groups... Which mean's I think taking repeat classes will make your playstyle overbearing and hard to deal with imo by design. Completely done on purpose.

Community is hyper focused on what you can do with a mixed comp but overlooks all the disgusting tricks you can pull off if you single focus on a specific race.

So anyway instead of giving up and stating oh well order has access too solar flare so this game is broken. I'm looking for solutions.

Dps shaman can drain morale by 150 at the safety of range. If I bring 4 or 6 of em that's 600 900 morale drain per cast. dps shaman's bring sticky feetz which increases my overall snaring playstyle plus can also strip blessings which tears away vigilance and any healing from RP and WP. Dps shaman's also bring Ere we go which is super good and increases my burst. Have a couple BO's slot in morale drain on clobber and it's more drain. Have 2 or 4 BO's with Yer nuthin and that's more morale drain.

If the morale drain from yer nuthin is 1800 over 12 sec's that's 150 morale drain per sec. Which is respectable.
I'm trying to look at big picture overall warband design stuff not isolated comparisons such as solar flare to yer nuthin.

You have to keep the AM's moving. So you need pressure on them so they aren't able to just free cast/morale pump. Unless the opposition is taking a bunch of dps AM's.

Engagements are almost always never completely equal either when you first meet the opposition. Morale level's will likely be at different spots. So I'll get solar flared a couple of times and that's cool. Sometimes I'll be closer to a morale bomb condition then you can solar flare where I can pop off my morale bomb and that's cool also.

I'll figure out which knights have solar flare and drain/kill them. Sometime's I'll be successful. Sometimes I won't. Either way it should be fun.
