Order have much better morale meta then Destro do atm.Tankbeardz wrote:
One of your group mentioned how both sides can do it...but I fail to see how order can match it...nor would I want to be a part of that. THAT is dumbing down the game IMO.

Hard to disagree when you look at gems like this: https://youtu.be/mFRKzMpgUxAfootpatrol2 wrote:This game is designed to be a lot faster then what player's thought it should be. This game is more well designed then what player's think it is.

Re: Destro Morale Pumps post-nerf?
Out of interest what would be the worst effect of removing morals ?
To me it mostly would be benificial.
Force some real tactics
Reward focus targets
Require taking down healers first ( nessasary even now if not bombing)
Longer fights (may end up quite long)
Encourage new players as less Rolf stomping
Remove the yours is better than mine as none have morals.
Just break the morals for a bit

That has nothing to do with game design. Its an combat mechanic oversight and was fixed.Hargrim wrote:Hard to disagree when you look at gems like this: https://youtu.be/mFRKzMpgUxAfootpatrol2 wrote:This game is designed to be a lot faster then what player's thought it should be. Ofc, one is oversight and the other is a game design decision. And you base this opinion of yours on what exactly?roadkillrobin wrote:That has nothing to do with game design. Its an combat mechanic oversight and was fixed.

Re: Destro Morale Pumps post-nerf?
If it was per design they wouldn't have fixed it.
You really think it was planned out by design that you should've be able to stack AA to Infinite attacks/sec? Its clearly an oversight.

Stuff like that happens in every mmo.
Nothing to be shocked about, I remember when one of our defftard pve tanks back in wow was granted with immortality caused by his access to high-end gear and the elitist jerks forums.
24 hours later came the fix.
Stuff like that is caused by player insight, theory crafting and overlooking things on classes and gear.
Something like that will happen here too most likely at the one or other point. And than it will be fixed,... Hopefully

Re: Destro Morale Pumps post-nerf?
Glaring issues like my example were fixed, sooner or later.
Other issues or deep rooted issues became meta. The theory that Mythic was extraordinary with game design and it was playerbase that sucked is just weak theory, nothing more.

Re: Destro Morale Pumps post-nerf?
Typical design is looked at as high level concepts and implantation is the low level. That being said does it make a difference if there is a design miss or an implementation miss ?
Sometimes ppl miss stuff in a complex environment, fix move on is the norm.
