some ppl think killing red name is only PvP.
there are RTS elements in this game. if you can control players like mob.
trying strategy may look like PvE
but it's the way to win SC points against superior enemy. against player.
or completely blocking enemy to 0 emblem.
i prefer 400 points rather than sitting at wc saying 'don't feed them'.

'sit at fort and win' is also PvE if i follow your claim.
go chase red names to wc if that's PvP.
in fact, everything u do against player to win is PvP. well, in my opinion.
