That's just not true. You have ruin gear which you can farm in 2 days.

It's not like ruin holds up vs conq and other stuff espically as the game progresses as it's just entry gear and nothing more


Even then it dosnt really address the real question, why does specific playstyle gear have to be tied to a certian types of play?


Why can't we just play the game and that be a sufficent enough requirement?

I agree that make exchange now available might be a bad idea. especially after you made it impossible to trade the medal-pots. So I guess many people have a lot of useless offi-medals and could exchange them for full conq-gear immediately.

But I still think it was a mistake to not implement exchange when conq-gear was introduced (together with a medal-wipe). Getting conq-gear through medals (means through ongoing participation in rvr) takes a lot of time, while getting conq-gear through bags encourage playing at low population times and punished people who search for langer fights (so what warhammer is about) at prime time. There is a difference if 200 people roll for 20 bags (and most of them "useless" green bags) or 6 people roll for 4 bags. ;)

**** 2 days? Come to Order i can get you full ruin in 45 minutes tops.

But anyone saying it takes forever is either a big whiner or a doing things extremely wrong. I prefer SC's, but in the last 3 months I was able to get full conq (with like 4 gold bags that were empties or dupes plus i bought the chest) and get both of the 45 SC Weapons on my SW; all during NA time. If you're super casual and only play a few hours a week and pug it then you can't expect BiS quickly or at all honestly. And if you want BiS that bad AND you're just being casual then you gotta change your mindset or sacrifice your real life (which probably isn't worth it for you).

Ruin is an entry gear set and nothing more. You can't compare Ruin to one of the BiS sets and say "it's slightly worse". Yes it's quick to farm but that's it. As more sets will be added Ruin will get weaker and weaker.

RvR and Scs should offer you both an offensive set and a tank/healer oriented set. Forcing people to do what they do not want in a game that should be fun it's just stupid. Who cares what others do to get the items they want? as long as they play on RoR it's all good.

inb4 "b-but that way one side (either scs or rvr) will surely die" No, it's not true, Scplayers avoid RvR already (most of the time) and RvR is doing great for our population. The same can be said for RvR players. 2 different sides with 2 different players do not eat each other influx of players.

As it stands now, RvR >>SC in terms of rewards, which is why scenarios can be relatively dead at times/no premades queue them once they have their dominator.

Genesis? The green bag variant? Subjugator weapons - which are, for many classes, a lot better than SC counterparts? Purple cloak, which is essentially a free mini-CW? Overlord/Imperator? SC weapons are vastly overrated imo, and even the epic weapons from t4 quests are better for a lot of classes. It's funny because one can get a subjugator weapon in an hour or so, whereas the scenario 2hs take a solid month or so of grinding (with current sc pop rate).

RvR has a lot of incentives to play, while SC has very few. With the introduction of the new 100 kill quest for 5 paragons, this will be even more evident. Sorry for somewhat of a tangent btw.

Agreed, Scs have literally close to 0 incentive to play. But after all they were called multiple times "mini-games" when it actually consists of one half of the pvp in WAR.
