"RoR Launcher has stopped working"

Dont see this Launcher error and fixes mentioned on stickied thread.
Clicking RoR Launcher immediately gives get pop up saying "Return of Reckoning Launcher has stopped working" (worked fine until today but had some drive error msg on computer earlier which think was repaired). Am computer illiterate so unsure if below gives any clue but it says:

Had any windows update? Or maybe net framework, directx or such updates?

Yes there was an automatic system update (Windows?) on shutdown/startup.

Reinstalled entire game and works now.
