Tabletop Gamer Just Starting with Class Question

I’m new to Warhammer Online but not to MMO’s (played the GW tabletop game though) and loving the RvR aspects of this game. Wish I caught this game during retail so a big THANK YOU to the dev's for taking this project on.

I like to heal/support during PVP. One issue I have is that I often log in during low pop hours and sometimes, there just isn’t much RvR action going on. I usually end up doing PQ’s but I noticed a lot of classes don’t seem to work well with solo play. I’ve tried Zealot (soooo slow), Sorcerer (seriously squishy) and Runepriest (Oh dear god). I haven’t tried Archmage because they seem to be everywhere and I’m guessing they are the “WoW Hunter” of Warhammer. I suppose I could try everyone of these classes til lvl10 but I figured I ask first.

TLDR; love PVP healing/support but need something that can solo quests and PQ’s reasonably well when RvR is dead.

Archmage is a perfect solo class, think of a Shadow Priest/Affliction Lock.

Warrior Priest is good, also, think of a retadin.

If you want to heal... but no one but yourself and only if specced for, and support (alot) ~ Ironbreaker.
Order is in dire need of tanks, small* beard people are fancy and Ironbreaker is a fun class.

Try dpsing with a Disciple of Khaine, if they weren't so devoted to the whole "god of murder" roleplay, they 'd be running farms. You can also play as a tank healer anytime - if you make a stupid hairless priest of Spoogemar, I curse you to never get good loot!

Get scavenging as a profession(raw materials for talisman making), or butchering (ingredients for potions), start with speccing parry/strength/weapon skill and you 'll be happy! Care, with the Dok, more than any other class, once the threshold between fun farming like a pig and losing all will and courage to exist is reached, it is in almost all cases too late for the player.

A WP looks like a half-cooked muffin trying to emerge from its odd shaped metallic oven mold.. I mean come on,WP!?. Seriously?!..

DoK on the other hand is the epitome of dark coolness - and even though it is of the same archetype as a WP, can be characterized as a mirror class even in this game and therefore "Retadin" can be used against it, the difference with the SHPoS is that it stands absolutely unaffected by this accusation due to its infinite, aforementioned, dark coolness.

HaH! I usually gravitate towards the “Bad Guys” so spot on. Something about the look of the AM; effeminate male in white dress with golden stick is just so…wrong. Great ideas on the WP/DoK. I’ll try them out. Are the primary stats for them Willpower for healing and strength for melee?

DO NOT make Spoogemar Priest!..

For dps, Strength, Weapon skill(for armor penetration, mostly for pvp) and melee crit depending on mastery build/tactics used - parry helps a lot in pve as a defensive stat since it is close combat. For healing armor, toughness, initiative and skill... ^^

Sexism aside, from a purely aesthetic point of approach, male AM is what makes male Sorc appear cool - a goal multi-universally acknowledged as nigh impossible to be achieved.
