I hope that if there is a "nerf" to AM/Shaman they don't end up like Dok/WP, who are now arguably the worst healers according to several people I have talked to.

Yes, Dok/WP were overperforming in their .ab ex specs and it definitely needed to be reverted/removed until further changes were made. But the group cleanse/AoE detaunt changes weren't reverted, which affected their survivability. Add to that the fact that Essence regen is nowhere close to what it was on live because gear (which means even "backline healers" have to constantly use Blood Offering/Essence Lash).

Back then I advocated buffing the "underperforming classes" instead of nerfing the "overperforming ones" (except for Group cleanse tactic, which proved to be the main issue affecting several other classes/specs viability). Things like increasing the resist value from Shamans/Zealots while lowering the value from Chosen/KotBS for example. I still think this is the way to go: fix the overperforming skills from Shaman/AM (if they have any) without killing the classes, and fix one or 2 things about Dok/WP (most people seem to agree Zealot/RP are in the right spot healers should be). I know devs have plans for melee healing once client control is here but that might take a while, right?

TL;DR: Don't nerf overperforming classes (except for one or 2 broken skills). Buff underperforming classes instead.

Thats an easy way to get power creep

Classes should be brought in line Choppa or WE shouldnt be buffed to maras level of nonsese, rather mara needs to brought inline respective to the other mdps

The other respective faction tanks shouldnt be brought up to Chosen/KOTBS levels of effectiveness, rather the brain dead easyness and effectiveness and buff/debuff aspect of the of the classes should be addressed

Did you miss the part where I said "except for one or 2 skills"'? I specifically mentioned a Chosen/KotBS example (resist auras).

As for Maras, the only issue with them is that they can have EVERYTHING in one spec. With client control, devs will be able to move skills around (and change the tooltips) to avoid this.

Nerfing also affects powercreep in the exactly same way but reversed. Take something away and something else gets stronger. The difference is you don't take stuff away from players that spent years of progressing a character.

Vermintide had an issue with their trinkets. Some were so good that they were a must take.

Last patch 1.9 buffed every other trinket except the op ones.

Shaman Eeeek! should be nerfed or the AM version buffed. This is critical to realm balance and devs have to travel back in time to fix it yesterday!
Dying is no option.

BoR always sucked. No one misses it. Also, BGs gained a 2H-KD.

Terrible example is terrible.
