Restart launcher to restart game?

After I quit the game, if I want to restart, I find myself forced to exit & restart the launcher as well. Otherwise the "connect" button just doesn't seem to do anything.

I realise this isn't exactly game-breaking but it leads to some unrequired click- and load time. Enough to post about it on the forum

Is this a known issue and if so is there anything I can do to fix it?

It's a known issue and there's nothing you can do about it - the only other option is to use this alternative, unofficial launcher made by a community member. There is little point fixing these quality of life quirks by now, as a new launcher is approaching.

Keep in mind this launcher is not endorsed by us in any way - we have glanced through the code at some point many months ago and did not find anything malicious, but you are using it at your own risk.
