Altdorf War Quarter - Continual Drop to Desktop Crash

Entering the Altdorf War Quarter this morning with my Slayer resulted in repeated crashes to desktop. It did not occur another characters outside Altdorf in other zones.
I used the Book of Binding to leave the area and no longer have the issue, however, this may be an issue affecting other players. Ultimately access to the war quarter where the renown gear is is ideal

How It Happens
This takes place after 10 seconds of logging in and gaining character control.
Does not seem related to any buffs, UI, or addons
Crash drops the client completely. No error message regarding the *.exe
The *.exe completely closes and does nto show up in task manager as running in the background
I replicated the issue 8-9 times before Book of Binding out.
Restarting the client each times does not resolve the issue.
Rebooting the PC does not resolve the issue.

If you require additional information, let me know. I suspect there is an issue with that area file and may require a reboot server side.

You might want to give this thing a shot, apply it to your WAR.exe.
It did the trick for me, the frequency of crashes dropped to an absolute insignificant level.

Afaik, these kind of crashes are related to hardware (and WAR's terribad optimization), aswell as data being corrupted upon receipt rather than at the time of dispatch - take that with a ton of salt though.

yeh crashed today when trying to visit that part of Altdorf, then decided that it was an omen from the game and deciding not to bother further with RoR today.

It has happened in past on the occasion, with Altdorf crashes either there or at flightmaster.
On Destro side haven't had similar locale specific crashes that I can remember of.

I do 360 turn after relog, from crashed spot.
sometimes there were big loading pause at gear merchant direction.
then I can enter war quarter without crash
