Something has gone wrong

Hi all,

Ive been playin for almost year and a half here and never had any issues with connection.
My location is southeast europe with 40ms.

Since 4 days ago i stated to get lagspikes or lag freezes that happen every 1 sec and than last up to 40 sec maybe 1 minute.
Sometimes even dc to main menu after waiting for stuff to come back alive.

I havent change any of the hardware/software since i started RoRing. Unfortunally i dont play any other online games to check how they would behave since these few days but the rest of internet works fine. I dont play via WIFI.

Tried to clear cache and checked few lag threads that were available and the issue remains.

If anyone have any idea, would be much appreciated.

Try turning off all your addons and clearing your cache folder

could be your network card has issues combined with your power unit.

perhaps you have a laptop you can test if the game is working with that? if you still have issues you at least know its not your hardware but your provider prbly.

Make a fresh squig herder and see whether you get the same, can't harm(well..). Gobbos work miracles!
Perhaps a server restart will fix it, or we are rid of one more ordie!

i have T1 zealot, and its the sam stuff...

@Tiggo, nah dont have laptop, how could one test if theres an issue between network card an power unit?
i tested my internet via dslreports.com and it gave me A on my connection (bufferbloat too), than i tested it with sourceforge internet test and only thing that was not good was upload bufferbloat which than said thats bad for online gaming...

i have same provider for 10 years and rarely had problems...when this last patch came up i presume server was restarted and was hoping it will resolve but unfo it didnt

Hello again!

The problem i had for some reason fixed itself and i have been playing with no problems.
But since few days ago my PC started to freeze up for no obvious reason.

SCs/Orvr on random times it just stops and i have to hard reset it to come back to life.
I like to think that i take good care of my PC taking into consideration its temperature, defragmentaion, (HD Sentinel does not report anything wrong) registry stuff and all that...

And ofc this only happens when i play RoR...Did any of you had any similiar issues?
