Exactly, no random teams, and CCM is very much the opposite, a team that has played long together, players trust one another can keep performing under pressure with exceptional results. They play, knowing their own weaknesses and doing their to minimize the potential "Achilles heel" that a non-traditional group composition will have.Bozzax wrote: So many fail before trying
Ofc you need a good comp and play its strengths so no random teams
Ccm showed this 1/3/2 as well beating countless FTM setups
Not saying all classes are equally good I'm saying maybe FTM isn't the best comp and you can play others with extremly good results
No conclutions can be drawn from daily observations unless you daily play 6v6 vs other top premades. I don't currently do you?
So, it is less about balance or FOTM, but comes down to simple player skill. And as I said, very few players can be in the top highest most skilled decile; the rest of us are just average.

If we "just average" players go try weird setups, it will most likely fail, unless the opponents are "far below average" as in too drunk to hit anything.

Let me ask you this; what kind of conclusions would you draw from the relative abundance of WL/Mara and Shaman/Am in late game, or with the number of Engis diminishing noticeably with the January patch changes? The number of Doks/WPs seems to be also relatively small compared to days of past, and on the other hand the green speeddemons and fabulous elves in their nightgowns seem quite numerous.
Because the way I see it, many people choose to play what is currently "good" instead of sticking with the same class regardless of whether it is approved for 6man boisbanding activities. Back in 2013 Slayers were very numerous, and before that it was BWs everywhere; now it is WLs everywhere; balance changes and sadly many players will keep choosing to play whatever class is currently "dominant", as in overpowered in comparison to other class choices.

It is possible that I have missed the joke, but Chosen population in T4 is 3x the numbers of BO and BG combined usually.Bozzax wrote: Also we currently have few maras and chosen in end game I think

Mebbe I've been unlucky in Scs then or did not pay attention (likely the latter)

Ask not what the sever can do for you, but what YOU can do for the server!
We will do what we can in the meantime, and you all know that. Whining that the game is dying only puts that notion into others heads, and probably does more damage than good. If you actually care, change your attitude and make the server a better place. Organize some player based events. Do T1 and T2/T3 as a guild and pick up new players along the way in a recruiting drive. New players land in the game every single day, it just depends on whether they see anything worth sticking around for.
Your shared responsibility as players makes as much of a difference as anything we're going to be developing in the short run. Posts like this only serve to magnify our known shortcomings and are counter-productive, if not outright damaging, to the alleged problem.

I personally love how my BG looks, but I must admit most Chosen look absolutely fabulous. If I had to choose 5 best looking classes, Chosen would be there.OldPlayer wrote:It is possible that I have missed the joke, but Chosen population in T4 is 3x the numbers of BO and BG combined usually.Bozzax wrote: Also we currently have few maras and chosen in end game I think

Then again, I may be in the minority who play classes because they look cool and provide "tolerable challenges", instead of just rolling whatever is ezmode. I wish more players did this, but then again I understand that playing a good well performing class can be quite rewarding when pushing it to the limit of awesome.
