Question: Curious about Mechanics

Can someone in the know please answer my following questions/concerns

I am getting tired of too many good fights being ruined by dubious mechanics / potential exploiting and I want to understand what is legit and what is non legit means in certain situations in ROR

It happens so many times now and I brushed it off the first 100+ times... but when you see it daily happen I would like to know

White lion pulls...
Is pulling a destro player out of line of sight and through solid walls exploiting or legit pro tactics?
Is pulling a destro player on balcony not on the edge, but deeper out of line of sight exploiting or legit pro tactics?

Also while asking questions

Is pouncing up into keeps a legit viable tactic that only order get access too or is it exploting mechanics? because I will record and give you all the evidence you will ever need If i see people knowingly break combat mechanics (been happening too much in keep defenses with posterns barred)

I've even see them pounce to roof of inner so is this legit pro white lion/sm skills or exploit of mechanic?

Could you record video of "pulling a destro player out of line of sight and through solid walls". I hear this said often, but I've never seen anything like it.

Before you get mega flamed for this anyone who has played destro for any length of time just deals with it. Usually it ends up with someone mentioning destro morale pump which order also has, then someone will mention mara debuffs (which is great for a 6 man sc/roam group), they'll say Mara has a pull granted it is like 1/10 as good as wL's, they'll tell you to CC the pet and then in the end someone will say, "No one is forcing you to do RvR." and after the flame goes back and forth the thread will get locked with a mention that you should post this on bugtracker and not on the forums.

It sucks, but you just gotta play on man. I forgot to mention this but someone will also say to get a group or something to that matter but in reality just play on. You'll see it coming, you can't do as much as everyone says you can against it and you just have to hope you can get rez'd.

If you are continuously being pulled through walls, I'd say that is probably a bug of some kind and I'm sure it has been reported but check the bug tracker to be safe

I have a video but I wont link unless a Dev asks me too and even then they would probally want me too in private

(Manor BO in eataine... dok was in corner... not near the front door, they get pulled out through solid concrete wall with just one entrance/door while 6 of us vs a warband) we cannot jump through those walls yet you can be pulled through the terrain... I don't know if its allowed/legit tactics that I have to plan for as leader or is it mechanic abuse.

Odds already stacked against us and would of been nice fight if this kind of abuse didn't happen... I see similar happen in keeps but they are more of cluster so harder to prove. (our zealot got pulled off keep defence despite being anywhere near the edge/outer)

It messes with spirit of game and morale when you fight fair and come up against things like this too often to be "mistake" "accident" they know what they are doing...

It is for clarfications purposes, not for people to derail into something else... This has nothing to do with Mara but yet you want to derail into that topic, Mara doesnt fly through buildings last time i checked. Its just three simple questions that i do not know the answers too.

you cannot target a pet if you cannot see it coming at you through solid concrete... and i was in party vs a warband when the example im using happend...

Also ive had 10 40's on destro on live, and 7 on ROR... its not like im inexperienced mate, it is just a grey area of game to me and if people want to flame me for asking honest questions in a polite manner says more about them than it does me. Thats why I ask someone with greater knowledge than myself so i know the difference between right and wrong

Yes they can pounce on walls, as can SM if they get the opportunity. Pulling through LoS is not an exploit, but generally server discrepancy. Not much we can do about that. For skills LoS is checked right before the pull, so if you were close to in-range and thought to bounce out quickly but still got hit, that's what it was. We would be very critical of any video that shows otherwise, so send me something good and I'll share it with the team.

Im moastly intreasted in how many WL dps main rerolls it gotta take before someone aknowlege how completly littered with explotible bugs the WL class have. I could probobly even make a Watchmojo top 10 list about it.

Don't bother, will not happen.
The shitloads of rdps we have in T4, especially on order side, hasn't caused a reaction until now. Why bother with WL then?

We have never enforced anything like that. Players just making things up and pretending it's against some rules, when clearly it's not.

Pets are buggy, deal with it. It will get fixed eventually if we get mob pathing implemented.
If Pounce/WingsofHeaven/Rift/Magnet/Fetch/Terrible Embrace can reach you, deal with it. These are less likely to get "fixed" because they're pretty much working as intended. LoS blocks the use of them, short of really weird occurrences or server lag being different from what your client is showing.
