Game launches with error message

I downloaded the torrent and moved the files into another directory after downloading and deleted the torrent from my torrent-program. I login with the launcher and it gives me the following error-message:

System.Exception: You need to stop application currently using the following file: data.myp

Game still starts but the character/serverscreen stays empty. tried it repeatedly as suggested in stickied thread.

Try rebooting your computer and trying again.

Hello.

I have the same problem. The game takes a moment to start. Inside the game there are options, credits, cinematic. To the right a small empty black window. There is no option to create a character or join a server. The reboot does not fix it.
