Order is my main and I have 3destro toons, rr40+
I convince myself that playing destro is only to study enemy.
still I'm xrealmer but not worst of them. changing side for winning is not even worst.
Worst is when you're talking s**t about the realm you changed side to.

recently I see a lot of messages. 'destro better order sux, destro would do this/that' in order chat.
or s*** talking about realm leaders commands.
intended or not, that kind of action harms the realm's coordination.

some xrealmers whining about realm for 30mins 'you're doing it wrong, u sux' constantly
then suddenly said 'hey let's work together'.
coordination doesn't work like that.

so if you are xrealming just play silently plz.
don't damage the opposite side anymore.
build your reputation as dedicated player if you want weight on your comments.

If you change realms at last min to be on the winning side, your contribution reward will be either "modest" or non-existent.
You can easily earn renown even on losing side, especially with AAO.
And if you hop realms to "get a chance with lucky roll for bags", guess what, the current system is merciless towards those who join in at last minutes and have not spent hour racking up contribution.
However, some people still might just hop to todays "winning realm" and succeed with less effort given. Who cares, if they hop to enemy side that means just more people for you to kill.

But if you think bashing your own realm is only happening on Order side, you are wrong. The same shitposters and bashers are playing both realms with very great likelyhood.

I'm not sure people saying the other side plays better are crossrealmers. As a matter of fact, I think those people are less likely to play both realms, otherwise they would be aware that things are just as bad on the other side as well. It's much easier to see a group of people as some sort of hive mind working in near-perfect unison (and being responsible for defeat rather than, say, one's own shortcomings) when you're never among them and never experience the usual problems of incompetence and infighting.

There's probably a decent amount of people complaining about their faction that aren't crossrealmers and are just bitter, but I do think there's also some people who do switch sides just to cause trouble in chat.

Personally I think however you play you should at least be respectful to those that you're playing with (within reason). However, you will always going to have shitposters and bashers as Aurandilaz put it. GMs do a good job of limiting disrespectful banter public chat IMO.

The current rvr system does quite well in refusing rewards, and more specifically loot rolls to cross-realmers. **** talking about it seems to me a very minor issue. You have to not give a **** because trolls reign supreme in these types of settings. The fun thing to do is to troll the trollers, but as we all know that just encourages them. A lock-out timer will come with client control; cross-realming will no longer be an issue.

There is nothing wrong in playing both sides when we have only 1 server. Ppl play other classes on same side but some chose to play same class on other side.

Unfun is just that when ppl wipe at keep they change side and you see how in 5 minutes from 3 wb you have 1 and that 2 wb are now at other side and yea thats sad.

We could have some system or debuff that stops you from playing pvp on other side for 30 minutes and problem would be gone.

I don't know is it rising, or not but I know it's bad and make game unfun. That shows us that we staying at our side we do wrong, we lose, wipe many times... when we could also change side and win. Xrealming is just unfun.
