Exactly ... 1200 translates into endless hours and in my case a couple of months duration.

Seems to be matter of perspective and apparently ours deviate a lot.

Hmm looks like. I had it very fast, faster than i thought. I was solo so no premate or something. Was not a month to get my Best in slot. Its about If youre lucky 300 scs thats something like 40 hours play time.

Seriously. Conq are hard to get because they're BiS. There have repeatedly been posts from devs saying that the current situation will be assessed and changed as needed​. When it was said the first time that was enough for me.

Imo it was not, and in current case it would be giving players possibility to get best set, in respective time spent ofc, that fits for their gameplay. For example atm most of healer and tank classes have their dps set obtainable by scs only and most dps classes have their dps set obtainable by oRvR only. If someone would like to keep his favourite playstyle and get BiS set its forced to one or another activity anyway. I cant understand how giving player choice what he want to do to gear himself is mistake/bad thing.
Dont get me wrong: im not talking even about speeding up gearing process, i would just like to feel that spending time on my favour activities in this game is somehow rewarding in process of gearing, and atm often its not.

+1, but just because I think it's a better solution than the current, because of it's consistency. Even if the rate for conversion was like 1 RvR Token = 10 SC tokens.

and I want to add more:
atm players are forced to play in RvR atm solo, 2 man, 3 man or 6 man roam for farming effiency.

with this playstyle you work against your own warbands / faction because there are half filled WBs when it's not primetime plus you don't have enough manpower / healers / tanks etc. And even on primetime, some ppl. who carried the WB by playing there role or lead the WB are missing cause they roam.

and if it's primetime there is no point in playing at all when you try to get a non useless bag or tokens on your main because there are 150ppl per side bitching / fighting each other for tokens/bags all the time within the faction.
on destro primetime is like that when you play in a guild warband: you go with your WB. 3 sorcs / herders stick solo to your WB and try to KS as much as they can. beastlord added enough of that, even if it seems that they are easier doable now because the hype is gone. but BL isn't that much important because the items are outvalued by genesis in most cases and are competed by influence rewards and single pieces of equipment.

I can understand that there should be some kind of competition even in the faction, but srsy in RvR it's a bit too much for my taste atm. Nobody works together, the way they should.

SC grinding speed is fine and the gear could even be higher in pricing, no problem in that, because there is consistency to some point.
but in RvR there is non. one day I make 20 tokens in one hour by roaming in a grp or 2 grp WB, the other day I make 10 tokens in 5 hours because there are ppl on toons who don't drop currency, I have no roll luck etc, ppl who I play with aren't online and so on.

atm. I can't even say if I finish conq on my zealot main, because the fun in playing heal for me lies in keeping my grp alive + crossheal in my wb as much as I can. Healing a 6 man party is like this:
whoa look, 8 ppl, let's try to take them out = heal and dispell as much as I can, if I'm close to dying I pop self rezz mark on myself or an ally = success
whoa look, the enemy WB, somebody got dismounted, guess we can regrp WC.

It's just agar.io in 3D with Warhammer.

I don't think conq is not achievable for the 08/15 player, but I think it's not reliably achivable in the way the game is ment to be played, which is for my definition large scale RvR. and especially not achievable in a way that provides fun.
If I want to play the game right at the moment on max effiency I don't need a WB, I don't need a guild, I need a friendslist with 5 other names on it, which contains one time my archtype of role and two times the two others.


uhm, and I can't agree on the SC statement, sorry.
for me SCs and PQs where the thing that hooked me to this game back in live, because I never saw something in an mmorpg I played before. SCs were like instant action if you are short on time, and PQs had exactly this social factor I'm talking about, and if you rethink it: RvR is nothing else than a big fat PQ where many ppl work on simutaniously. I know at this point everybody can just say, I don't care what he writes, but I care for the game so much that I at least want to share my thoughts.

I don't want to sound like an ass, and especially I don't want to argue, I just want to share my point of view how I personally experience the game right now.
I am very thankful to everybody who spends his time on developing this game, making a wiki, creating content, leave there fingerprint by filling the database, promoting the game with there twitch stream or just add value by playing, but I see some design flaws atm. mmorpgs are a social genre, if not the most social genre in gaming in all, everybody should work together as much as possible and the best they can for getting rewarded, but the incentives that are made by design, are making it very hard right now.
excluding beastlord from that, because that is a well designed competitve mini game in my eyes, and hits the effort / reward ratio perfectly with it's well designed gear and the gap it fills. (could even take more kills for getting the Hunting Guide)



my 2 cent on medallions / farming /current state of the game / last big patch / whatsoever.

I've considered typing up a breakdown of this "issue", but it's high effort/low reward explanation over something we're not changing. Why bother?

probably for closure. Until its publicly known in its own thread with reasonable explanation behind it (which I have no doubt youre capable of) people will continue to makes threads like these.

Itll be a good thing if there was one thread which said ideas which you guys will not budge on because it stops us wasting our time proposing it and your time moderating it.
