Healers and tanks aint getting anything.. meaning its not a whine or moan its helping other classes wHo actually contribute shitloads but get no rewards for it. As a rdps myself i have it easy. . I had 3 pieces conq in not even a Day. . While my fellow tanks and heals after couple weeks have at Max 30-50 medals. . And maybe luck on the elusive bags. .point is they need rewards even if its little else everyone Will be rdps soon. .and then they find out i suck. .cant Let that happen. .

I disagree with you since our group healer Nimeria gets the same amount of contribution with me when i have 35 killing blows.So i dont think its so much black and white as you think.Also I saw Gumthorr winning lots of bags as a tank.Or our group tank Kontis.So its about doing your best for the map.

I see plenty of tanks and healers getting gold bags, every day. Also my kills ( RR and meds ) are shared with my healer, they just dont go to me only.

The thread is about using killing blow mechanism to distribute rvr loot.
Killing blow is a dps favoring mechanism and not a balanced way to distribute rvr loot. Healers and tanks have no direct way to influence their own destiny with this mechanic .

Ofc they do. Group with dps. You heal/guard dps -> dps kills more -> more medalions = profit.

Last time I check shaman/Am had two specialization trees aimed at doing DMG, RP/Z can also do a shitton of dmg when going dpsmode, and most tanks already are light-mode damage doers, with freaks like Sm/BO easily competing with some DPS classes when it comes to dmg output potential.
A dps shaman has just as much potential for medallion earning in T4 as a sorc or a squig.

You get loots from killing. If you are not actively participating in killing, why should you be reward with loot?

Heal-specced healer classes can always group up with other people to make it even easier to get more kills and more medals. Form up a 6man and work together for greater killing potential.
That way you'll get more kills. (unless of course some soloing rdps arrives to the scene at last second and steals the deathblow and the loot reward despite contributing very little to the overall kill process...)

As others have pointed out the system of quest rewards further enables solo players to contribute, by not having the be in the party who lands the killing blow. This fundamentally goes against one of the games core principle of group play as indicated by the ability to form parties, warbands, guilds and abilities that affect players in your group.

It would cause an influx of medallion currency to the market and lead to either a increase of distribution of the servers current end game gear or the increase of prices to compensate for the increase in available currency. Either that or the reward would be so small that there would be a decrease in medallion currency available and even more whining about the grind, which I assume drove this post.

The killing blow rewards players who play in supportive group environments, who have an understanding of ability and target prioritization and generally have higher skill levels.

Currently the killing blow mechanism does reward solo dps , they are well rewarded
