SH question, build/renown points etc.

Heya. I'm quite new to SH and would like to ask ya'll what the ideal build would look like for a r40/rr40 SH, in WB and/or small scale.

Is WS talismans the way to go or would you choose ballistic?
Where do you put your points on renown training?
What tactics would you say are mandatory?

I'd go 30 points crit, then go CW1.
Talismans are a personal preference, I go weaponskill on the armor and I've got ballistic on the weapons to get around 1k BS.

Go ws for talis. Crit and cw1. For gear atleast full anni and offparts t4 inf ring and lvl 37 bs or if you have genesis rings.

I 'd go with annihilator, t3 chaos inf Passwatch belt for the resists, t4 greenskins Bloodfist Shoota, Beastlord Back/Pocket/Jewelry and Vanguard/Enervating/Purple Jewelry till you get more options. As for the talismans, WS is a must but you need to find the analogy to Ball and Crit that fits your needs. And of course, if you plan to use the +120 WS/Ball/Str tactic, you might want to consider toughness/armor and wounds, depending on whether you 'll play solo or in a group.

As for the 40 rr points, I would suggest 15 into crit, 10 into Dodge/Disrupt, 5 into Trivial Blows and 10 into WS.
