Concqueror drop for healers

Some tanks (Full tank spec) Does not receive a high reward, due to low Damage. DPS classes have high priority, and all remain without rewards.

This, well at least someone read the title.
The problem is from what I understood is that conqueror drops are to the group who does death blow, meaning that healers and low dps do not affect the ability to roll other than utility in keeping the dps alive and healing outside you group is bad from a conqueror drop perspective as they can then steal the kill.

Yeah would be better to just have repeateble kill quests and give everyone that assisted compleption for the kill. And then remove loot tables in RVR coz the rolls are also causing massive amount of lag.

In my opinion this would work better than the existing system based on RNG and better reward activity.
If loot and conq were distributed via kill quests zone kill for conq and keep kill quests for the loot bags then we kill off the hideous RNG for loot and limit x-realm profit to actual kills as the current kill mechanism seems to balance healing and dps

If you're a solo healer I suspect you're DPS, and should thus be able to at least do some damage and steal some deathblows. A healer should always run with a group/warband. Also, solo DPS doesn't last long on their own in big fights, so the few killsteals they might make pale in comparison to the amount they feed to an enemy if above RR42 (although WE/WH will have some pretty good hauls if ganking). I would also like to note that the gains one can make by using siege equipment in RvR is massive, and it's usually healers and tanks who use those out of party. There are more roads that lead to Rome.

I have to disagree. From personal experience (SW) and from others who have posted on the forums, rdps make great strides by soloing in the lakes and taking killblows to get conq medallions (Xiuxiu, for example, said he's at over 800 already). The current system does favor rdps and high burst classes (I love running with BWs, WHs, and WLs for this reason).

Oh, right. RDPS is a thing. Ezmode bastards! :lol:

That does bring it down to the point of the loot contribution system, however. As it's tied to deathblow in RvR, DPS classes will profit the most. I'm not even sure if this can be tweaked, as you cannot roll with people that aren't in your party with the current game code.

I added a suggestion to the suggestions forum to replace the current system and instead using kill count and quests which was suggested in this thread.
The siege engine discussion I would have thought is odd for a rvr conq drop , sounds just what u need in mid rvr the healers and tanks dropping seige weapons.
The rest of the response was weird also if I was a dps healer I would not have posted this as the whole discussion is about healing giving no direct impact on conq drops other than utility and only your groups killing blows giving you a chance to face the RNG .
The existing system is as I see it fundamentally flawed.

I like the tanks and healers that I run with to feel valued too.. and sometimes I get the feeling they'd much rather be running a DPS so they can be contributing to their chance at meds. What is your opinion on the kill quest idea presented by Acidic? Even if it was tied to the 50/50/50 quest already available and the reward was 5 conq? I just truly empathize with players running tanks/healers and wish there was a way to make them feel valued for their play making ability and contribution.

So for healers to have the same shot of leaching they they need to farm have an additional set of gear while dps don't. They usually don even need to respec. Are you seriusly suggesting that they should go and farm more to be able to farm more? Why not adress the core problem instead wich is the unballanced mechanic of wich get to roll on drops.

Go into RVR and kill 15 players at the same time and see what happens. Its eaither the renown calculations or the loot rolls causing this lag coz those situations is in general caused by Morale dumps wich doesn't use the dps mitigration formulas.
